Gordon Monson is getting destroyed on Twitter...

This is pretty much what the Trib has become... they try to get as many clicks as possible. I think it’s pretty obvious they’re not going to be around much longer, everything they do reeks of desperation

Which team would be the worst arm pit of the NBA for Hayward? Memphis? Brooklyn? I don't care if he is playing Wed night, Boston is the team I root against more than any other these days. the place is going to be Rockin'.... I don't know what the over/under is for Crowder and Jerebko scoring but I hope they have their best games yet with the Jazz.

I have moved on, and I think most Jazzfanz have too. Sportswriters don't speak for the people, they want the people to buy what they are writing. Writers, particularly columnists, like to stir up controversy, it is click bait and a paper seller.
 
Glad Monson's annoying writing style is annoying people outside the state of Utah these days.

Also Bill Simmons is a gargantuan Boston homer to an absolute fault. His takes on the NBA have fallen off since he gave himself personal freedom to ditch the objective bias needed to be somewhat there when he worked for national media firms. Have you heard some of his podcasts lately?

He used to be a lot more informed but was still a homer. I think his attention is now split and he watches Boston the most so that makes the homerism bigger... plus he surrounds himself with some of his homer friends.

He’d be salty AF if Tatum left after 6-7 years.
 
I also think Hayward’s awkward personality is going to be a problem in Boston... the welcome press conference he did from San Diego his desire to have all the messages that get out on his twitter feed be mini-documentaries and his inability to be genuine. If he doesn’t do well and the young guys Brown/Tatum want to be above him on the totem pole it could get awkward. I’m interested to see how it works next year.
 
The only problem with the article is he didn't refer to it as haywood.

Also Mr. Monson, i think you are fantastic in print and on paper. I don't know why these clowns are spewing hate. DJ, PK, you and Larsen are kings of this jungle.
 
Really embarrassing. It really is like texting your ex out of the blue, trying to convince them how well you're doing. Monson exists to humiliate Jazz fans.
