What's new

Free AB

This isn't fair. He's not a bad player at all. Just isn't right for the system. I could see a scenario where him and Exum anchor the backcourt in a difficult to read chaotic bench offense in a ten man rotation.

But it's more realistic to give him the opportunity to go somewhere he'll get more touches. Maybe we can get something back in return. I wish him the best.
I think it's fair. He's a low IQ ball player. Same mistakes over and over again.

Maybe if the blood types match we can inject AB and Exum with some plasma from DM45- just to see

In fairness, I think AB's injuries have messed with his decision-making. While he was never a high IQ player, despite his experience he's much worse now.
This. I want to like AB, I really do. He just does not have a basketball mind. We have so many guys who do, or have the capacity to develop that, but AB just doesn't have it.

Exum has been poor in this series, he looks so restricted by the jazz system though being told to sit in the corner after bringing the ball up.

May be an opportunity for a sign and trade in the post season.

Royce O'Neill has been the player I've been disappointed in a bit, has a good first step and moves that open up the shot for him, but then passes out late in the clock giving bad looks for others.

I think at this point you dance with who brought ya. It’s too late to bring Alec in now.

I do think that the jazz should have had Burks in the rotation all along and never demoted him and I think we would be better off.

But whatever. We have been awesome for months and we have a chance to advance to the second round with a game 6 (game 5 also for that matter) home win so it’s stupid to complain or 2nd guess quin at this point.

Just tried to explain AB to my Florida implant gf. He has the talent, at times of Kobe Bryant, yet has the IQ to consistently play like Rodney Hood on an off night.

Suggestions or corrections, please.

Pretty decent post.
I feel his defense and rebounding have greatly improved over the years while his finishing (hoodini ****) and getting to the line have went downhill.

I think quin made a mistake by giving up on him. Gotta take what I say with a grain of salt I guess but I still think there is something there with Burks.

AB saved us in Game 6 playoffs against the Thunder. When his game is on, he is amazing. Although it may have been because he wasn't scouted

At this point, Exum doesn't appear to have the self-confidence to play in big moments.
It just sucks for him. He missed most of the year and he comes back in the thick of a playoff race where the Jazz really cant afford to have him try stuff out and take risk. He played well, but it was just his game of using his speed to get to the rim. In the playoffs it just doesnt work because how a defense can scheme for him. Houston is a better defensive team than the Thunder too, so I dont know if it will get any easier for him.
