any chance this guy falls to 12? i just watched locke's video on this guy and i think he can be a pretty special guy inthe nba. i really do believe this guy is going to be a brandon roy type of player.

I saw him play one time last year and he reminded me of Brandon Roy with good knees. I would love if he fell to 12, but I don't think he will.

Getting Burks means Hayward playing the 3 in the future. I like Burks a lot as well. Premier scorer at CO. With the limited of #2's I think he goes a little bit before 12. But still a possibility of falling.

Is he too big a stretch at 3? Are Brandon Knight and Enes Kanter >>>>>>> Alec Burks? I wouldn't be surprised if KOC shocked us with the #3 pick. Not saying it's Burks. I just think there are more options than Kanter and Knight, which seem to be the only 2 talked about here for #3.

Burks would be a stretch at 3 because I don't think anyone before 8 is seriously considering him.

Cleveland seems set on Irving + Euro Big Man

Minnesota could actually use him, but I think they are thinking - Trade, Get Dwill, Get one of Euro Bigs

Jazz - Who knows, reports have them thinking about anything and everything

Toronto - They have Derozan, I think they are looking to add either Knight or Walker. I think they want Knight because they need shooting.

Kings - They have Evans, so Burks would be a terrible fit

Wizards - Possibly, but I think they are thinking Kanter/Leonard/Vesely. They have Jordan Crawford and John Wall as a primary ball handler.

Detroit - I think they would be the first team to take him. They really need help at every position.

Bobcats - Same as Detroit

Bucks - They really need a SG, so I think they take Burks for sure if he is there

Warriors - Doubt they would take Burks, I see them going more towards Klay Thompson.

I've been intrigued by Burks for a while now, but he hasn't cracked my top tier. He's just too shaky on defense and as a spot-up shooter for me to get excited. I would list him as a "high risk, high reward" player; it'd be hard to pass him up at 12.

Givony pretty much acted like Locke was out of his mind when he asked him any chance Burks falls to 12.

Thats odd, in his current mock on DX he has us taking Burks.

Was just about to say that.

Bucks have Salmons, Delfino and Maggette who can play wings and they committed a lot of money on these 3. Drafting Burks would be a waste of talent...

Pistons seem to be interested in European big men, at least from the reports.

Bobcats can be interested, but I think Stephen Jackson is more of a 2 than a 3 so they should be looking more for a SF than SG to fill Wallace's spot.

Warriors seem interested in Klay Thompson.

I hope we do pick Burks if he slips. If not, try Motiejunas.

I'm going to say it now, he will be very good in the NBA. I wouldn't hate it if the jazz picked him at three, we could easily trade down to #6 or 7, and pickup up some assets on the way to picking up Burks. Burks would be good running the curl.

is washington by any chance tryin to move up? and is nick young untradable? we could do a trade like nick young + 6th for 3rd?

you wanna be able to swap that CJ pick for one of Nick, don't ya?

it doesnt matter. i think it might be for the best for jazz to move down a bit and get a solid scorer or just a solid player with pick thats few spots down.

Yes!!! Because numbers always tell the truth, no need to actually watch the games.

I'm not going to pretend that I've been watching this guy since he was in high school; but his efficiency numbers took a huge hit when he became the focal point of his team's offense last season. All his better offensive numbers were based on volume. To me that's a huge red flag.

Also he's about the same size CJ Miles was 4 years ago - which means at this point he probably can't play the 3 and probably can't get to the rim at the next level - which means he'll end up being another shooting guard who can't shoot jumpers. And I've seen enough of those in Utah to last a lifetime.
