Allen will make the All-Rookie team

I’m not sure he breaks the rotation.

Meanwhile, the Jazz committed $33 million to the guy that is the worst at basketball of the five guards. At least he’s good defensively, I’m sure he’ll play.
 
Ayton, Doncic, SGA, Miles Bridges, Young, Sexton and maybe Bagley would have the inside track. Maybe the 2nd team though with Giles, Knox, Carter Jr, JJJ, etc. Not real likely though.
 
I definitely think he has the talent but he's likely not going to get enough minutes. Unless of course the injury bug hits us again.
 
Nah.

Not saying he sucks but he won’t be given much time this year unless we see a tsunami of injuries. if AB and Exum stay healthy he won’t be given much/any PT

Is this a knock on Exum?

His length and speed are totally worth the money. Not sure how anyone can argue with this. Speed and length are absolute premiums in today’s NBA. The ability to defend 1-3 positions is more valuable than the ability to knock down a 3.
 
The way Exum's defense pushes guards way out on the floor and shuts down their drive is worth a lot. Imagine you're a guard that has to get around Exum in order to get to Gobert in the lane. Nasty. It helps the other guys guard on the perimeter even more aggressively.

Exum was markedly better than Rubio at keeping quick guards in front of him last night. Nevermind getting to the rim and finishing.

rubio couldn't keep a traffic cone in front of him yesterday.
 
Pretty sad. I think he is pretty good. we are just too deep. like it or not, we will have illness or some minor injury that will lead him to play
