Jabari Parker

I don’t completely disagree (I too think Boyle’s stinks) but Parker doesn’t give a **** about defense (and as a natural byproduct winning and his team and teammates) and doesn’t seem to have a work ethic. Just look at his body. They’re the youngest team in the league and Boylen’s trying to create a culture and hold players accountable.

I respect that. They have some pieces and legit assets there. You don’t want to **** up their growth with some country club atmosphere. But Boylen does suck.

No way he’d do it and with the evolution of the sport, it may very well have passed him by, but I’d go after JVG and if they got him see if he could bring Thibs on as an assistant. Doubt he gets another HC gig. With Carter, Marki, and Portis’ length up front, they may be able to wildly improve their team defensive play.

He’s getting a lot more production then the last coach

I agree with everyone about his body. He doesn't look like he keeps in shape at all

I dont think he is out of shape as people think he is. I think his body just looks different because of his genes. The guys really explosive off the ground and quick for his size, especially for someone who has had two ACL surgeries.

Deron Williams looked a little pudgy. Zion Williamson looks a little pudgy. Charles looked a little pudgy. I just think its a dumb way to judge someone. Plenty of guys have great bodies and cant play at all. Players should just be judged on what they can do not how they look.

You would think we would have gotten past this by now.

Deron Williams was often pudgy. He'd come into the season looking like he was on a 5 burgers a day diet. He'd typically lose most of the weight throughout the season. It definitely contributed to his injuries.

I haven't read through the thread so maybe this has already been mentioned, but I didn't know Parker has a house in South Jordan.

I was very near the Bulls bench last night. During the game last night, while Jabari was returning to the Bench on a substitution, a fan yelled at Jabari "Jabari, you should come and play for Utah" Jabari replied "I'd Love to." I was quite surprised that during a game and right in front of his whole team he would say this out loud.

It's obvious he is in the doghouse so he might as well be honest. He got a DNP the night before when the Warriors killed the Bulls.

He does realize if he comes here he'll have to exert a modicum of effort on the defensive end right?

I thought he looked good last night. And he did try on defense.

Our culture would push him. Probably make him better.

Just wish he made less than $20. That contract means we have to sacrifice Exum, Rubio or Favors.

I'm extremely conflicted on Parker and Crowder.

Crowder is such a great intangibles player, but man can he be bad on offense at times. Last night he was locking down Lauri, but Parker was roasting him.

Parker looked pretty damn good last night. He would add a dimension to Utah's offense that they don't have.

Only on a mo-mo site would Jabari be being discussed this much.

Mods, please move this thread to GD and merge with @fishonjazz thread “sauce”.. as in weak-sauce-Jabari.

And just like that, we’re a free agency destination.

The Bulls have zero interest in Rubio and Favors. They might like Exum, but doubt it since they have Dunn.

I'm just really hesitant on trading Favors for Parker. Seems like Favors is the only guy who makes sense because his playing time would take a hit.

Charlotte has been rumored to like Favors and I think he fits there perfectly. Maybe that is a third team who makes this whole thing make sense. Still hesitant.

I am the leader of the go get Jabari train, and I can tell you it has nothing to do with Mormonism. I am not a mormon and could careless that he is mormon.

Needless to say the hit i put on LoPo’s life was late, and he started this abomination of a thread. Then it died, and some idiot got it going again.

I’m going to say it now, if the jazz sign or trade for Parker, it will set back the franchise years, a franchise killing move, mark my words. LoPo will wish he were dead. In two years. Yes... two years after freaking out like a little girl at a Justin Bieber concert learning Parker was a jazz man.

The crappy thing for us fans too is the Jazz won't even trade any of these guys just because they want to be nice to them.

Trading Rubio or Exum away to get Jabari is an easy yes for me. I agree that Favors is a little more of a difficult decision. Id rather have Jabari, but we need Favors too.
