Crowder.....what is he good for?

Absolutely nothing....say it again! He can't hit the broad side of a barn. Does he rebound? Play better than average defense? What is he doing on this team? What is he doing on the court? Inquiring minds want to know!!! It's a sad state of affairs when you shoot 3-12.....and your shooting percentage goes UP! At some point we are going to start losing games because of him.

He has toughness, spirit, and busts his butt on defense and for loose balls and rebounds, and when he's hot, he can hit the 3. Problem is that he's hot and cold. Otherwise, I'm glad we have him instead of a weak-*** guy like Hayward.

His shot was off, but BG didn't have a big night against us and part of the reason was Jae. He will be back to form shortly.

When he's making shots he is maybe one of our most valuable players. His defense and competence making reads and moving the ball helps all the time. I wish he was a better finisher and more consistent shooter. He played some really physical defense on Blake last night, and is a very good team defender as well. There's a reason he has generally been part of the best lineups on the team since he's been here.

Are you ever not awful about anything?

And if you don’t know what a rhetorical question is, now is the perfect time to learn.

Reminder: nobody likes you and nobody respects you. Go join aintnuthin wherever he is that isn’t here.

Earlier this month Jae had 30 in Toronto... Last night was his worst offensive game ever as a Jazz man in my opinion, he's a solid playoff contributing role player.

It’s called being in a shooting slump. He played hella good defense on Blake, and have him no cheapies. he’s a warrior on this team, as far as rebounding, he could probably be better, but at the same time, he’s a 6-6 compact pf that doesn’t jump all that well.

Along with all the other strengths listed above, and probably most importantly, he wants to be here. He will continue to contribute to our winning with his effort and toughness. The positive is we're winning with him slumping offensively. When he returns to form it will be a bonus.

He didn't chuck last night either... just missed open ones. He's still very much engaged in what we are doing.

Also, he's our enforcer... when **** goes down I don't know who started it... but I know who will end it... Jae Effing Crowder.

Per Andy Larsen, during this 6 game shooting slump Jae is just 2/30 on above the break 3's, but 2/3 on corner 3's. We need to try and get him more corner 3's. He's also hit just 4/15 layups during this span.

Difference between Jae and Hood (who we traded Jae for) is that Crowder has value on the court even when he is not hitting his shots. We won that trade hands down.

This... plus durability, plus leadership/intangibles, and position of need for us.

That's all I wanted to know! You answered my question! Just checking his box scores in the past 10 games he seemed like a major liability. But we've been winning so he must be doing something right if the coaching staff keeps him on the floor for big minutes!

When I see the thread title, I can only think about...
