What's new

Start Mitchell at the Point.

Yeah, it's logic to gush over a guy's defense when we are playing better d without him. Or his shooting when he has had such an uneven season.

But hey Cy, you are company guy and okay with mediocrity.

Jazz are playing better defense without Rubio?

I mean, that has nothing to do with playing Cleveland/Orlando/Chicago/Lakers/Detroit. Again, logic not your strong suit.

And he made a point to say "clutch shots", because Rubio has been our best clutch shooter since we got him last year (statistically backed fact).

The funniest **** about the people who really want the Jazz to be better without Rubio is that the game Rubio got hurt he was cooking a top 3 NBA team and the Jazz looked primed for a huge upset.
I never said anything about being without Rubio. I have said all along I'm fine with Rubio in a lesser role

I just don't think its necessary for Quin to drool all over Rubio when we are playing so great right now.

Quin's comments seemed like something that would be said for a player whose team struggled when he was gone.

Yeah, a coach praising his players? He must be a freaking idiot!

U make some good points. Then some absolutely silly ones. Jazz aren't playing great right. Their schedule has been great!

What was the final score of the game?
That's not your argument. You said we look so good right now because we played bad teams. Well, we looked awful against Cleveland with ole Ricky. You can hide behind the final result, but I don't believe we have struggled against any of these teams recently.

I know you like to argue just to argue and be that guy, but you know what I am saying. Quin went pretty overboard with his praise for a guy we haven't missed one bit in the last couple weeks.

I know what you're saying is completely moronic. He didnt go overboard in the slightest.

We looked awful vs Cleveland?

Again, what was the final score? The Jazz won by +20. They covered the spread. Whatever point you're trying to make, it's about as thin as the logic you use for why Terry Rozier is good.

“Ricky’s a huge part of what we do—his ability to defend the ball, to make shots, to make clutch shots,” Jazz head coach Quin Snyder said on Sunday. “He’s playing really well. Our team is better when we have him.”

Rubio ain't going anywhere. I fully expect DL to overpay him this summer.

I agree with you quin went overboard. He can't defend. Players go past him all the time. Not looking good with those comments

Dude really wants to die on the "A coach is being weird for praising his players" hill lmfao
A coach should always support his players. But let's be honest quin isn't a coach that supports his players unless your a favourite. Rubio is a favourite. Quin hasn't got good track record with supporting or encouraging his players

Cy, all of us with a life know you are a loser because you spend so much time trying to belittle people. I'm just not sure why. Do you not get laid? Was Daddy mean to you? Did Mommy not snuggle with you enough? Regardless, you are pathetic and I hope you can work out your issues of insecurity and lashing out.

As a fan, his praise seemed odd considering our current amazing form. It's almost like he was trying to convince fans that Rubio does have value in a moment when so many are questioning how important he might or might not be.

You are also a moron if you believe this.

Or it might just be a coach instilling confidence in his players, like all coaches do all the time. It's commonplace.

And yes, a lot of fans are incredibly stupid when it comes to Rubio, so his comments are probably in part directed towards educating them.
