Nothing like that.

Those were both elite defensive performances. There are dozens of articles today saying the same thing, with plenty of evidence to support the claim.

Here, you’re just wayfaring on rumor, 5th-hand speculation, and nothing more.

The difference is obvious to a single brain cell.

You didn’t say they were elite defensive performances. You said they were elite defenses. Talk about spinning **** to fit your narrative.

Everyone here on Jazzfanz needs to start praying that the Lakers trade goes through.

If they bring in that entire cohort into New Orleans, Jrue is going to ask to be sent out.

At that point, we need to firesale whatever we have for him

You are how you perform. I’m not surprised you refuse to acknowledge that.

The rest of your life will be tough for you. Most years you’ll hear something about the elite defense that was played in this game, and then you’ll think about how I’m right and you’re dumb.
 
If I was the Pelicans GM I'd take the best offer the Lakers make. Ainge is trying to dangle the idea that Tatum may be on the table in order to entice the Pels to keep AD past the deadline. That way in the summer the Lakers may shift focus to other potential signings and the Celtics become the top suitor. Then all of a sudden Ainge will pull Tatum off the table. He's not dumb.

If the Lakers are offering Kuzma, Ingram, Ball and 2 1sts you gotta take that. That is a good haul. Then flip Ball for more assets since neither he nor Lavar want to be in NOLA apparently. I'd build around Jrue, Kuz, Ingram and all the picks/assets. Possibly Randle too. That's not a bad start to a rebuild.

I'd hate AD on the freaking Lakers tho. Ugh.

I try and get one more first... maybe Hart too, but honestly there is a shortage of roster spots at some point. If they want him... I get it all.

I disagree. I don't think Jrue would want to be traded and then we would have another superteam in the western conference. AD to the Lakers is the last thing Jazz fans should hope for.

Well, I originally wasn’t going to put him on the list. All the other ones are straight across trades. Not sure how we get involved in that trade.
 
Pels have every reason to wait for the draft lottery to see what picks are available. Plus they probably want to tank the rest of this season for their own draft position.
