What's new

Rudy Gobert Western Conference Player of the week!

Well deserved! He averaged 16.5 points, 15.5 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and shot 69.5% for the week.

Maybe we're about to go on a run? Because while I've been enjoying Rudy's recent stretch, I've been just as impressed with Favors and Mitchell. Those three are taking it up a notch.

(Side note: I hope Q can get some rest for Korver and Ingles coming down the stretch. Those two need to be fresh. Ingles needs to find his shot).

I think Ingles needs to find his legs. The Jazz need to figure out life after Ingles sooner than later, he’s not going to be able to sustain the burden he has been for an entire season. It’s a shame he’s such a unique player.

no question that his burden needs to decrease next year.

It would go a really long way in decreasing his burden if we had point guards that could actually stay healthy.

If I were DL, I'd be ashamed of our PG situation. He's thrown 2 first-round picks at this problem and we're still treading water or injured when it counts most. Nuts.
Don't you mean 5?
Two to trade up for Burke, then Exum, Hill and Rubio.

Happy for Rudy, glad he is recognized for his impressive week. Hope Jazz fans and nba recognize his nightly effort to do so many things that don't appear in a box score but help the team win.

Jazz fans needed some good news following last week.

I'd rather see a player with the right amount of emotion. He isn't an Andre, and he isn't a Hayward.
Cry because you don't get plays called for you, or no chance of crying because robots that are checked out can't have emotion.

I'll take Gobert any day of the week.
Great post. I absolutely love Rudy. I wish everyone had his passion for the game and for being the best. We are lucky we have a core that shares this trait. Donovan, Joe, Favors, Rudy, and even Jae and Korver all show this passion. Maybe not as intensely as Rudy but still, it's there and it is fantastic to see.
