I think Booker already has that role filled in Phoenix. . .
My mother will be thrilled out of her mind. No one in the the NBA has ever given him a fair shake, according to her. She believes the coaches and players are "jealous of him and the attention he gets" and they do things to cause him to fail.

Your mom sounds like my in-laws. My FIL is still bitter about his rookie year. When my wife qualified his recent stats by saying it was in China, my MIL spoke about how good the players in China are. I felt no need to say anything as they don’t really follow basketball (obviously) all that much and it would just cause undue tension, so I pretended I wasn’t listening.
