Oh ****! That is prepared. That looks like a Burning man rig.
I usually camp with booze, tarp, sleeping bag, and a fishing pole.

Stop referring to your old fella as a fishing pole, its disgusting.
What else am I supposed to call a pole I use for fishing?

I went to city of rocks this winter for a minute. I have friends that climb there religiously, like a pilgrimage man. It's a neat place.

I camp a ton in the summer for work, so I get kind of burned out on it. But I did do a sweet backcountry lake trip in Yellowstone last fall that I still think about. We canoed in and camped for a few days, each night we'd be woken up several times by bill elk bugling, caught a bunch of really big lake trout, and just had fun with zero outside world interruptions.
