Who emerges as our leader?

Who is our leader during the playoffs?

Donovan is our leader in terms of his outward support of his teammates and his media influence, but is he our leader? It's like Stockton and Malone, with Rudy as our Stockton and Donovan as our Malone. Stockton was calm and quiet while Malone was more outgoing and played it up for the fans. But who was our leader, Stockton or Malone?

So during the playoffs will it be Rudy or Don? Will one emerge, or do they both fill that role?


I actually thought of this because I was thinking about how Rudy continues to improve on offense. He's becoming an even bigger stud, so will his game rise to the level of dominance that he is perceived as The Man for the Jazz by both fans and team?

It's Mitchell and it's been Mitchell for awhile. But everyone plays a leadership role at times.

Rudy is our leader on defense. Sef has been a veteran leader at times. Crowder pumps up the team and plays a leadership role. Rubio runs the team on the court a lot and is a leader in that role. Snyder obviously plays a big role in leadership.

It's rarely one guy, but the main guy for us is Mitchell.

I agree about Mitchell, it's obviously been Donovan since about January of last year, maybe earlier. But could Rudy become that guy?

If we make it to the WCF the press will pick either Rudy or Don as their poster boy for The Jazz. Probably Don, but could it be Rudy?

None of this really matters at all, they are both great players and teammates. But it's slow and I'm excited to see how they both fare on the big stage.
 
I'm the only one who voted for Rudy at this point! 7-1-7

I feel like he's going to use the playoffs to prove to the world he's deserving to be an all-star. I feel our defense is going to be as good as we've seen it.
