Honestly... idk what to think. On one hand, I'm upset that over the past 6 years, the jazz rebuild has been a complete $hitshow. They didn't tank properly, and missed out on some draft picks. They put in all the chips for Hayward to resign... and then caught lightning in a bottle with Gobert and Mitchell. I'm happy we went to the playoffs last year and the first round upset with the Thunder. But would you rather have that and the next few years be mediocrity or would you rather go for a proper rebuild, trade EVERYBODY sans Mitchell, and do a real rebuild over the next few years?
I think Lindsay is overrated. What has he really done? He guessed on Gobert. Otherwise, he would've drafted him in the first round. Mitchell is the only nice trade he has made. In retrospect, I'd rather have Burks and Hood over Crowder and Korver. The Jazz have ONE person who looks like an "athletic" wing player in today's NBA. That's Mitchell. Every other non-big on the roster is a gimmicky wing player. What a disaster. I don't even know where to go from here in the off-season. Nobody is going to sign here. The only way to improve is via trade and the draft, and quite frankly we don't have any great assets anybody would want.
