Why Wasn't Harden Ejected

for his shove slap in the face of JIngles? If JIngles had done that to Harden, it's adios. I know he is a superstar but he was stinking it up and starts acting like a spoiled brat.

Thriller said Harden committed a 4th foul in the first half but the refs called the foul against the Jazz. Unfortunately, Thriller has selective amnesia , maybe because he is being paid off by the Rockets and/or the NBA.

Why does Harden get to push off his defender 20 times a game and get away with it 99.5% of the time? Why does he get a foul called on the defender when he creates the contact so many times that defenders are forced to literally back away from him or freeze like statues ?
The treatment harden gets from the officials is one of life's great mysteries

See Michael Jordan, Kobe, Lebron. It's like the league sent a memo to the refs saying fans don't want to see the stars sitting with foul trouble.

Its extremely simple. The NBA is a business first a basketball league second. The stars make the NBA the most money, the league makes sure they get special treatment.
If the NBA was basketball first you would see a massive difference in how the game would be called. Traveling, block/charge, hand checking, allowing players to talk to the refs and not other players.
Look at the draft lottery. You're telling me they do the lottery behind closed doors and no one cares? I guarantee that would be one of the most exciting things to watch live, especially if your team is expecting a top 5 pick.
Why are terrible officials not fired? Mauer, Fitzgerald, Baveta, Washington, Crawford and about a dozen more.
The other obvious point is look at the billionaires that own the teams. I guarantee these people are highly competitive individuals. Your telling me that their teams get screwed over and they don't say or demand anything different? The reason is obvious, the NBA is highly profitable and it's a hush hush situation.
Not every game is fixed. Yet you'd be a fool to think many games aren't.

If you believe games are being fixed than why would you be a fan or even care? I am not making a case either way but if I thought fixing games was something that occurred on more than an exception basis, I would never watch another game. And for what its worth, if the NBA is fixing they aren't very smart about it. Last night is one of many obvious examples of a game that having the Jazz win is better for the league in terms of money and overall fan interest.

On another note, I hate star treatment as much as anyone and what Harden gets a way with is a joke but there are a long list of folks who have had the same treatment. Ask any non Jazz fan and they put Stockton and Malone on that same list.

I'm just saying the ref that went to prison wasn't the only one doing it. I'm not saying that the NBA is like pro wrestling. It's just that goofy calls for no good reason get made by refs. See Dick Bavetta.

The first step back three he made yesterday was his infamous double step back travel which of course was not called. I mean, I get fouls, or no fouls, flopping etc, - that sometimes can trick the refs, but when dude blatantly keeps making double step backs uncalled it just blows my mind. I mean there is nothing tricky about it it is ****ing travel for **** sakes so start calling it!!! Even NBA referee association admitted after infamous double travel against Rubio in regular season that they "missed that one". No ****ing kidding. You keep missing at least 2-3 per game and until you start calling it that cheat flopping traveling piece of **** Harden will keep doing it.

Not a travel.

I would go yolo and do a triple step back in game 4 and then seriously complain to the refs if I got called a travel for it, just troll the game, make the NBA look like fools.
Harden would get knocked down in the 90's for that kind of ****

b. A player who receives the ball while he is progressing or upon completion of a dribble, may use a two-count rhythm in coming to a stop, passing or shooting the ball.
"The offensive player gathers the ball while on his right foot. He then takes a step with his left foot (step 1) into a hop step, landing first with his right foot (step 2) and then illegally with his left (step 3). We missed this one - it is a traveling violation". Greetings from NBA referee association.

The refs missed a call on Harden-Rubio and apologized. What's your point.

My point is that they apologized for it, but they keep ignoring it and letting him travel and score like that. Please re watch his first three vs Jazz in last game. Very subtle double feet shuffle after step back ( same as vs Rubio in regular season but less outrageous), still a travel which was not called and resulted in additional 3 pts for them.

Star treatment alone is enough to influence the outcome of games. You agree that star treatment is real but you don't think the NBA is influencing the outcomes of games and series? That doesn't make sense tbh.
