You're the GM this offseason. What do you do?

Trade Exum and a first to get rid of Exum’s contract.

Let Korver, Favors and Rubio walk.

Go get Brogdon. Do whatever it takes.

Then try to get Mirotic but you probably can’t get both. If not, add Gay/Millsap/Horford.

Trade Gobert for an elite offensive talent. Upgrade at PG and SF. Sign a backup center and let Favors continue his excellent performance.
 
Priority #1 is to extend Favors for a smaller number but more years. I'm tired of the Favors yoyo. Just commit to the guy long term at a more fair rate than $17+.

Drop Ricky, Korver, and Exum. Get a solid point or two guard with that money. Keep Favors. This isn't hard.

Nah, he isn't making 20 million. Somebody would roll the dice on him at his contract level. Plenty of teams that aren't going anywhere for a while that could afford a year or two more of patience.
 
Everyone is saying that we need a 3rd star player. If we can get one, then great. However, at a minimum, what we need is a guy we can rely on for 17 - 18 points every night. Someone like a Buddy Hield. He doesn't need to be an All Star per se.

I hadn't been paying attention, but this guy has really improved. His numbers are terrific and trending upward. Looks like they will end up winning that trade. No way in hell they trade him now.

Re-Sign Rubio to $9 million. That's slightly above the MLE. I doubt anybody will shell out more than MLE money for him.
TOTAL for 14 players: $104 million (around $5 million below the salary cap, $26 below the luxury).

We wouldn't really have the money to add too much in terms of a 15th player. I guess we could let Neto walk if we brought back Rubio, but that still puts us at $7 million which is below MLE level money. We almost have to have $10+ million in cap space to lure a good free agent away from all those teams who only have the $8.8 million MLE to spend.

In order to get $10+ million in cap space, we have to decline on Favors, renounce Rubio or trade Crowder, Korver or Exum. I personally don't think we need to trade any of them during the summer.

Have you lost your mind? Korver Favors, and Rubio for Gay, Millsap and Horford? Korver, Favors and Rubio fit our system like a glove! They would come cheaper and produce more with less turmoil on the team!

This. We need a guy like Eric Gordon. Those guys aren't too hard to find.
 
Get Buddy Hield, sign Isiah Cousins, draft a point guard, let Rubio, Raul, Thabo and Ekpe go and hope Exum stays healthy.
