What's new

Non jazz 2019 playoff discussion.

Mmmh...

Let's get by parts:

-Your presumptions are better than your physiognomistic skills.

-He's a funny guy inside and outside the court, very fond of jokes. I wasn't aware his name was widely mispronounciated (Jokist?) but I'll trust your word. Anyway, he's being nicknamed like this since he was playing at Serbia, so I guess mispelling has little to do with it.

-I don't see anything dumb or confusing on it (no more than any other NBA player nickname, at least).

-This artwork I do find it dumb but I never use the word cringey (and related). I'm not overconfident when it comes to its semiotic.

I'm sorry I offended you, maybe you made the image.

Apparently the nickname comes from Mike Miller, cuz of Jokic's trickery (also because of how his name is spelled). Still dumb.

Anyway.

Am I offended?
I didn't know that... I'll try to trust your word again and I'll do my best to feel offended.
I'm a straight white male so maybe that will take a while... please, be patient.

Maybe I made it?
Mmmh...
I'll check that by myself (I'm loading too much burden over your word... I need to be less lazy).

I first heard about The Joker nick when he was playing with Serbian National Team but I was not sure about the dates.
Now I checked it and it was Mike Miller's idea, that's right but I guess is more due to his sense of humor than to his trickery.

Steph dislocated his finger. If he was Neto, Rubio or Exum he'd be out 3 weeks minimum.

And people thought houston would give golden state a run this year? Lol...

Rockets look completely outclassed. Not even close to competing like last year. Also, the warriors are so much better without boogie. So much

Pisses me off so much I’ll talk to you.
We are literally a bunch of PROFESSIONAL athletes making their shots at their AVERAGE rate away from playing this series in the Cuckets place.

Snyder and Gobert were magnificent. But the Jazz role players failing, epically, to spread the floor was a dagger in Mitchell’s chest.

I hope Mitchell, Gobert, Snyder and DL sat down for a couple hours and laid out a plan for this off season in detail and each persons part in executing it.

Hows capela getting worked this hard by a team with no real center.....getting out rebounded as well. Wtf....

No Ariza and a geriatric cp3 seem to be the reason.

A rare 30-30-30 game.
$30M, 30 mins, a -30 +/-.
How difficult is that to do...have your team be outscored by 30 pts when you're on the court? Maybe an even bigger surprise is that a coach would leave you out there when you're the worst player on the court.
Super rare!

Wut? Gobert pretty much was invisible on offense and failed to use his size advantage vs switching defense. No wonder Jazz did much better with Favors at the center.

You guys still can't get over he dumped your a$$. Dude had one of the worst injuries in sports and won't be back til next year, just like PG. PG 1st year backed he sucked. And you wonder why you do not attract FA's. Everyone see's how you treated Hayward after he busted his *** for the Jazz all those years and left as a FA ... boo frickin hoo, get a team and a life.

Do you really think that FAs, when deciding where to go start browsing the fan forums and base their decision on how fans react to a player leaving them?

And if you believe that, and if FAs do that what team is it they would find has an acceptably appreciative fan base for players that pick other teams over theirs?
