Oh they've had time, they are just incredibly ****ing stupid.

In the post episode commentary they said Dany had forgotten about the iron fleet, but they hadn't forgotten about her. She had literally had a conversation about Euron and his ships during her last scene!

It's. So. ****ing. Stupid.

I thought it was the availability of actors I thought that meant it was only gonna be 6 episodes?
 
Say what you want about the plot and the script, but the acting is on point. It's a really interesting group of characters. Cersei is as good an evil bitch queen as any could be cast.

She's definitely been consistent in that role since day 1. Probably moreso than anyone else.
 
If Danerys' dragon flies low enough, just over the surface of the water, it'd be hard to hit with those ship-mounted spears.
 
When a character does something stupid, this makes the writers stupid? Check out military history. Look at General Lee at Gettysburg. He was no dummy but totally botched the battle. Historians scratch their heads to this day to figure out what the f he was thinking. Then there is the fog of war.

Even if Euron's fleet's survival is critical to the overall plot?
 
Jaimie is an idiot and deserves to die. I hope Cersie kills him in sight. Finally let that giant zombie guard she has have some fun.

Also, I laughed at how unbeatable the undead army was and how they were all going to die. SYKE. They still have half of everyone. 10s of thousands still good to go.

Also, why wouldn’t you go get the Vale on your side on the way south? Having thousands of mounted knights is something you could use.

Just feel that they are dropping the ball on what was an epic series. Also yes, the acting is superb.
