What's new

Non jazz 2019 playoff discussion.

The rockets closed out that game pathetically. Should have won by 10+. KD or Curry should’ve sent it to OT with their wide open looks.

If golden state shows a heartbeat, this series is over.

But as long as they spend their time jackpotting around and hoping KD rescues them, they’re going to lose.

Why did PJ Tucker contest that last KD 3 so much? Who cares if he makes it? You’re up 4

Ya that was dumb. It looked like Austin Rivers chewed him out a little bit about it at the end. Kind of weird Austin Rivers was doing that to Tucker though.

He did receive the buyout from the Knicks for $18.6 Million and then signed with Portland after the buyout. He signed with Portland for what the league would allow a team to sign him for after his multi million buyout.

paul pierce is a clown. that’s probably why espn hired him lmao

Celtics/Bucks is the most boring series because the Celtics team are so beige in the way they play and don't have any of the dog or fight in them from last season, glad it's looking to be out of the way early so we can focus on the other fun series going on.

Would be major lulz if Irving leaves them. I don't know what they would do next year without him. Theyd still be a playoff team, but it wouldn't be a team with a lot of optimism.

I actually think they'd have a ton of optimism if instead of trying to balance out between contending now while developing their young guys they can just go full on development mode and really maximise Tatum and Brown's potential, and I think a lot of Celtics fans wouldn't care too much about Irving's departure after the season he's had, even though he's clearly a star caliber player.

More interesting thing about the Celtics offseason to me is whether Horford stays or not as I think Kyrie has been out the door since like January. Horford's got a $30 mil player option this year but if he declines that to chase another deal I don't know whether the Celtics pay him, or what other teams would pay him close to that money. But I could see Horford taking a paycut if it means he's playing on a contending team, and if he doesn't think the Celtics will contend next season if Kyrie goes then I'm curious to know if he'd bolt too and take a $5 - $10 mil paycut to play for an elite team.

I just don't think Tatum or brown are that great

Tatum is just a solid handle away from being a consistently solid scoring threat, I'm still high on Tatum. Brown is who he is at this point I think which is a good but not great player but I still think Tatum can be special if he figures out how to dribble into the paint without being stripped 70% of the time.

If only Gordon had a situation perfectly suited to his skills where he could have not been in the limelight and had a coach that knew how to get the best out of him...
