What's new

Non jazz 2019 playoff discussion.

he'll survive as an unfulfilled miserable ****. Remember his whole mantra leaving ??? "unfinished business" "championship" lololololol Instead of joining the revered Celtics players ranks he's gonna be a reviled Celtic hahaha

It's a job. Hayward has always used poster sayings. Means nothing. He changed jobs, big deal. Life is way more important to most people than their jobs, I assume his is the same

In retrospect, BOS is more than welcome to keep Hayward.

And maybe time to tamp the Brad Stevens GOAT talk.
Coaches often get too much blame and credit.

Depending on what happens in the off-season the majority of the blame should fall on Danny Ainge. But even then, a lot of this is just due to really bad luck with Hayward and a bad leader in Irving. As much as I want to bag on Stevens, I don't think it's accurate.

Shouldn't you be on a Celtics forum telling them how 30% and 7 points per game is worth max money?

Are you really that dense. I have hated the C's all year.

As to Hayward, he can be judged starting next year. PG equally sucked his 1st year back, dude broke his leg.

How many rows did your school bus have dumb ***?

You've hated the Celtics all year? So you only like them if they are winning, I take it you must've been a really bad fan prior to the Garnett years.
Haywood was hurt game 1 of last season. His injury was 19 months ago, saying he needs 2 years to come back is a trash excuse. Paul George is and always was better than Hayward.

He had an unexpected surgery #2 in July. Check your Math.

I could care less if they lose, they were 0 fun to watch.

Did you think to check this at all? Cuz you're completely, embarrassingly wrong and a complete ****ing dunce.

Good thing I did the work for you: https://www.basketball-reference.co...ward&y2=2019&player_id2=haywago01&idx=players

I'll give you the highlights:
-George scored 23.1 points per game to Hayward's 11.5.
-George had a PER five points higher, 4 points better in +/-, and nearly four times the VORP; in short, he dwarfed Hayward by nearly every relevant box score and advanced statistical measurement.
-George also came back the same season he got injured by the way. He also played 9 more games than Hayward did in their first seasons back

He was hurt game 1 of Last season. Season starts the end of September, so it looks like my math checks out.
You don't care cause they were zero fun to watch. That's a lie, if you didn't care why would you be here trying to make up excuses for Haywood?
