You know we see it the same. Politically speaking in Americas context, that's moderation of the party members' views.
In the current political climate some would view it that way. I see it as the Republican party coming back into line with traditional conservative views. Like they were before the religious right started taking the party over in the 70s.
I also dont know why this matter other than mud slinging. Political sentiment is like a snaking river that cuts into a rock until getting pushed back the other direction for awhile.
I agree with that. I dont think it matters. I am only posting to correct OP and to point out how bad it is to try and use an Op-Ed as your source for info. Especially when the Op-Ed links to the real information and is a decent source. Not the twisted opinions of 1 person. This data could be wildly different in just one election cycle.
