What's new

No more plumbers!!! Fix the issues.

Rubio has played better than the average Jazz player in the playoffs over the last 3 years.
Well, I expect more than better than our average player from our starting position.

But on top of that he has only been here for the last 2 playoffs. The first one he played well at first but was hurt. This year he didn't play well.

He played better than the average Jazz starter in the playoff games he has played in for the Jazz.

He played better than the average Jazz starter in the playoffs this year, and last year too.

He played well this year but last year I thought the other starters (Mitchell, Ingles, Favors, Gobert) all outplayed him. He only shot 34% and 31% from 3. Plus we closed out the Thunder series without him because he was injured and he missed the entire second round.

Disagree.

Favors, Gobert, and Mitchell were all better this year. Last year he was hurt when it mattered game 7 of the OKC series and the entire Houston series. And really he had 1 maybe 2 good game against OKC last year the rest of the games were not good.

Rubio got decent points because Houston didnt guard him at all. He was also terrible on defense. Houston focused on stopping anyone else like Mitchell and Ingles that got a ton of attention.

Well, we just missed out on Tyreke Evans so we may as well run it back.

He only played well this year because the Rockets knew he didn't matter at all. So they didn't guard him, at all.

I disagree.
Truth, no matter your reasoning or arguments. If you write " Rubio" and add " play well" on a sentence you will have a group of jazzfanz that will tell you things like " he only play well because...", that is a sentence that reminds me when i was at school ," the teacher has it out of me" and things like that. Of course Rubio makes a lot of mistakes, and he is not an star, but it´s a fact that last year he played good playoffs and this year the same, better than the average jazz starter , as you say. If he plays well is because he plays alone, he plays bad , he plays very bad because he plays alone. If Mitchell throws a ton of bricks it´s because of a double or triple team, never shoots alone. If Rudy lose the battle with the center , it´s because Rubio can´t pass him under the rim, not because Rudy can´t create his own shot. And note this, Rudy will never create his own shot, and Rubio will never be a good shooter. Rudy is a very good player , not a super star, and will decline with the years because he can only dunk. You can pay the max to Rudy, if the Jazz do it, will sacrifice the franchise future for years. Donovan will be a super star, from my point of view, but needs to improve. I disagree with the view that many peaple have here with what is happening with the jazz, with the analytics. But, ok, it´s only my opinion. Sure i´m wrong. Good luck for the Jazz

Bro, I don't know what you went through at school. Sounds painful and recent. We're here for you. You can talk to us about anything that your teacher pulled out of you. Let's make sure that this kind of thing never happens to anyone again.
