What's new

Game Of Thrones

Really? I think last two episodes were as bad as it gets.
Finales are always the worst. What could have they done?

BTW, oddsmakers had Bran as the favorite to sit the throne since the season started. They knew.

Episode 5? Absolutely

Episode 6? Taken in a vacuum? Sure.

But given 5 episodes of excellent F- episodes, it excelled. It did a very solid job of piecing together this ****.

I disagree. I hated everything about it. So stupid. Nothing made sense except Jon killing Danny.

I would have accepted if more if Briene would have come North with Jon and joined Tormund.

So Azor Ahai... not a thing.

EDIT: or is Bran Azor Ahai? Doesn't see to make sense, but what does anymore?

It was impossible to try and write good, actual ending to this story in 13 episodes or whatever it was. The second-to-last season was by far the worst, the final season was okay given all the ground that was left to cover.

I found this very illuminating and helped bring me peace about the obvious shift from Season 7 onward:

You know what's cool is if GRRM ever gets back to his work, he'll have an entire world waiting to see it done correctly. I think it would/should play out very differently than the show.

I'm sad that Asshai stayed so mysterious, especially given that that's where the dragon eggs come from. Maybe in some scenario Jon ends up there with his own dragons and something something.

Anyway.
