What's new

Non jazz 2019 playoff discussion.

I m actually glad we lost in the first round. If we made it to second round, i bet jazz won’t make any move this summer. another internal development ****. Now they are forced to make a move. do it jazz

If we made it to the 2nd round we would be winning a championship this year.

Exciting series between Toronto and Milwaukee. I have a hard time seeing anything but the Bucks winning in 5-6 games, but Toronto is fighting hard. Kyle Lowry has been great again, which is nice to see. I've always liked him as a player.

Warriors without 14 all stars are actually a fun team to watch. Still want them to lose though.

Blazers blew a 17 point lead with less than two minutes left in the third quarter tonight.

GSW, even without Durant, still swept them 4-0. POR are truly second half chokers.

If Portland had any balls they'd at the very least make a major pivot of some kind They're just as far from contending as they've ever been.

I’d rather lose to Houston in the first round than get swept by an injury-filled Warriors team in the Conference Finals tbh

These teams play small against the Warriors thinking they'll match the Ws' speed, but then they can't get a rebound. When Evan Turner is your PF, you're kinda shooting yourself in the foot.

We will beat the warriors next season in the playoffs. I believe

Warriors clearly have leeway to drop games in the regular season since they’re such a great team. They beat Houston in Houston without their best iso player.

We don’t have the same leeway. We needed home court and we needed to avoid certain teams. Meanwhile we lost more games against +. 500

Plus, golden state has won it many times. Of course they’re going to save their older and more fatigued players. We were supposed to be younger and start fresh out of the gates. Remember? We brought back the same team as last year. We started slowly, caught fire post Christmas, and then began to fade towards the end dropping key games in March.
I'm so tired of hearing this. The Jazz did fine against the lower tier teams. What set us a step below the elite teams in the west and cost us seeding was our lackluster record against +.500 teams.Screenshot_2019-05-20-22-15-23.png

A single team won more games against below .500 teams in the west and that was GS. Meanwhile, of the playoff teams, only the Clippers were less successful against winning teams.
