Rudy Gobert named to All-Defensive 1st Team

I love that he got the most points of anyone. Well deserved!
 
So is the DPOY award between him and Giannis at this point? I can't see any of the others making enough of an impact to really be in the conversation.

Based on voting, it actually appears it's more likely between him and PG.
 
I'd be surprised if Rudy doesn't get DPOY. If not it'll be a PR move. No one has the defensive impact he does.
 
Both Giannis and Rudy deserve it. Pg13 distant third. Rudy will win but Giannis is on the same level and it would be hard getting upset if he wins. I think if voters pick Giannis as mvp they will be less likely to also choose him as dpoy.
 
DPOY consecutive probably and not getting selected for All-star tells so much about today’s NBA. What do we have next? Removing the award? Putting 3pmpg into consideration?

Sadly Lebron did not deserve to be all NBA this season. Still Top 3 player overall but this season, his injuries, games missed, and missing the playoffs should’ve ruled him out.

The 2 vote difference between Giannis and pg is meaningless. It comes down to how the 94 voters who picked all 3 rank them. Pg13 will be distant third based on those who have declared their votes.
