Well, the good news is Rubio will definitely not be back next year.

If he asks for a lot of money yes. In the current NBA, with spacing being one of the main things, having a PG that can't shoot is a significant hurdle most teams aren't eager to subject themselves to.

It amazes me he hasn't managed to improve his shooting in 8 seasons.
 
Rubio was never a lockdown defender. He's a solid to good on man D depending on matchup, an excellent help defender, and an event creater with his hands as well as 50-59 balls and defensive rebounding
 
I wonder if the Jazz have actually told Rubio they plan on moving on from him this offseason or if he's still just pissed because they tried to trade him for Conley?
 
Rubio is so butthurt. Favors was in trade conversation but always handled it like a professional. Conley is better so we tried to get him. Just get it and move on

My hunch is that Rubio keeps making comments that show where his head is, and as a result the Jazz did let him know "he is not high on their priority list", or whatever he said.
It's also possible he said this because they have not reached out to him, so he has inferred that he is not a high priority.

He was the worst ball handler on the team at throwing to the bigs, Donovan, Exum, Neto, and Ingles were all better at throwing lobs. Rubio needs to go find a team with 4 other players in the game who can shoot, so that his shooting and loose passing is less of a problem. Rubio is a major reason our offense struggled. Replace him and that goes away.

People seem to forget that rubio rly didnt work well with rudy who hasnt got the best hands, improved but still. Rubio really sucks at the lob thats for sure, he is more used to play with bigs who have really high offensive repetoirs. Eg klove and KAT. He just doesnt fit.
 
Snyder's system sucked *** for Rubio individually and I have no doubt that if he gets to go to a fast paced team he'll look a lot better than he did for most of his Jazz stint. I'm very interested to see where he goes I think he'll be a good fantasy pickup with the right team
