What's new

Following Potential Draftees - 2019 (not kidding)

Nothing super interesting.

Says Utah, Boston, Atlanta, and OKC are teams that are looking to trade their picks.

Mike Schmidt took Bol Bol for Utah. (it's not a mock, just what they would do).

They had Keldon Johnson at 10 which is the highest I've seen him in any recent mock. Wonder if they have any inside info that Atlanta loves him, or if one of Woj or Schmitz just really likes him.

Here's their final mock

Barkley is all-time top 25-50, maybe 15-25.
Barkley is a top 50 player. I misspoke. I think Zion will be lucky if he plays like Barkley. I don't see Zion playing like LeBron.

However, it is absolutely impossible for Barkley to be a top 30 player all time. He holds zero records, zero titles, 1 MVP and he didn't have some super long or successful career. He is top 50, but in that 40-50 range.

Impossible? He was the second best power forward of all-time behind Malone when he retired.

There is enough smoke there to lead me to believe we are looking to move the pick, but not a lot of predraft trades make sense... unless we agree and then wait until FA opens.

Bol Bol would be so worth it at 23 if his medical checks out. Anyone who is wanting "a swing for the fences" type of pick gets what they want if we take Bol.
