FA Targets at the MLE/BA level

Not a capologist, but per Tony Jones the Jazz will have the full MLE and Bi-Annual exception (...don't we also have some trade exceptions?)

As it stands, we'll have Royce, Exum, Niang, Neto and Bradley off the bench. That's pretty haggard.

Who is a) realistic and b) worth a crap at those $ figures?

Dedmon? Danny Green? Looney? Ariza? I'm out of the loop on the Tier 3-4 guys.

I think TJ is wrong. We don’t get to use space to complete the trade and keep the MLE and BAE... it’s one or the other... only way to make another addition is to waive Favs and use space.

We need a PF the most right now. We also need a SG.

Conley Exum Neto
Mitchell FA
Ingles Royce
Favors FA Niang
Gobert Favors Bradley

Jazz need an athletic, 2-way forward. That's a hole in the roster right now. The good news is that this player will get to play next to Conley, Mitchell, Ingles and Gobert.

Danny Green would be flipping perfect, I just can't imagine someone wouldn't overpay/offer him more than we could. Dude shot 46% from 3 this season.

If we don’t start the year above the cap, we don’t have the full MLE.

I haven’t run the numbers, but I’m pretty sure it’s either a good chunk of cap or it’s Favors.

It’s worth noting we have **** for depth now, and somehow have even fewer shooting 4s than we started the offseason with which is almost impressively dedicated to a losing basketball philosophy.

We absolutely must waive Favors and move in another direction. Niko, Jabari, Love are all options on the table that are easy to swap.. and I'd rather have any of them.

Jazz could go after Terrence Ross or Jeremy Lamb and move Ingles to the 4.

Terrance Ross and Danny Green are the top two guys that I can think of.

I lean towards Ross (who I think would be a 6th man of the year candidate here), but Danny Green would be a great acquisition as well.
