Grayson Allen appreciation thread

Wish we would have kept him, but MEM needed lower contracts that weren't complete scrubs so I get it.
 
Hope he blows up ability wise and overcomes the stigma he has as a poor sport. I think he has the work ethic to be a quality player.

He may be the only player in NBA history to drop 40 points in his last regular season game before being traded.
 
i think he would've had a lot of scoring outbursts if he played on a lesser team or a team not playing for anything. the one good thing about his 1 year with the jazz is that he clearly learned much better defensive habits. he'll have less pressure and a much longer leash in memphis to go out and just play without looking over his shoulder so much. honestly, he and burks got a raw deal this year only to both get dealt while exum's corpse somehow still remains. will be fun to watch what he can do and i honestly think he can be an MIP candidate. definitely rooting like hell for him.
