What's new

Jazz Mini-Camp

seems like somewhat of a knucklehead, or at least i get that vibe without really knowing much about his personality. should've stayed in college. it's like most highschool mcd's all-americans thinks they deserve to be one and done even if they don't do anything to merit it.
nothing? what about when they earned a spot on the list of the most elite high school basketball players?

I just watched some college and gleague highlights of Patton.

If the foot is kind of healthy sign him now.

He would be fun to watch on the second unit with Joe ingles. He has great hands, quick instincts and a soft shooting touch. He gets up and down the floor fast. Has range out to 3pt line. Can dribble and pass off the dribble.

Please basketball gods or balanced universe let his foot be okay and let him sign a cheap multi year deal with the jazz. You owe us for Dante.

wow. Some O_O passes on that mix.

i just gave plenty of examples of "older" or non-freshmen guys getting drafted recently and there's alot more if I included 2nd round guys. simmons would've only been 20 at the time of the 2018 draft if he just waited and (likely) improved his sophomore year. he likely would'e parlayed that into a late first round pick or early 2nd. there was no legit reason to leave other than him not wanting to be in school and/or just trying to get paid ASAP regardless if at a non-nba level. for f*cks sake, other than grayson on the jazz, donovan is someone who waited another year rather than leaving earlier. the age argument doesn't fly here, it was a very short-sighted decision from him unless again he just purely hated the academic side of things. Not to mention that zona probably paid for him to be there, but that's another bag of worms.
Unless he doesn’t get much better, then he’s screwed.

OK the Jazz had 30 guys at this Hootenanie. Take the best 15 for summer league and see if we can start filling out the roster.
