Biggest Threats

Frankly, with the move we made at PG, the improvement in the players we have already signed, the fundamentally sound approach to the NBA game with a solid coaching staff to insist the game is played the right way, 82-0 is not out of the realm of possibility!
Can any team stop our dunks? NO! Can any team stop our pick and rolls? NO! Can any team penetrate our defensive wall and tenacious approach to contesting shots and rebounding the ball? NO! Barring any serious injuries to any of our key players, 82-0 is in all probability, the forthcoming reality for this Jazz team!

I don't have a lot of guarantees about the draft, except this" Bol Bol will never bean effective NBA player. Nobody that has watched a lot of him actually playing basketball thinks he has anything special. He isn't even a quarter of the player Shawn Bradley was.

I think best case scenario for him is he becomes a slight change of pace center that shoots threes for 10 minutes a game. He is one of those players I would be suspicious of his body holding up. Unless he somehow becomes a really hard worker.

Spoiler alert- He really isn't a hard worker. In fact, that is one of the biggest knocks against him. Also he weighs as much as Dante Exum.
 
Tier 1 - Teams I would expect to beat us: Clippers, Bucks
Tier 2 - Teams I would not be surprised if beat us: Lakers, Rockets, Nuggets, Blazers, 76ers
Tier 3 - Teams that biased fans might think they have a chance: Thunder, Kings, Spurs, Mavericks, Pacers and Celtics
Tier 4 - No chance: All others

The west is going to be a blood bath!

I like what is going on for us but we there are a few keys things that have to occur before I would call us a contender. Hope things go our way.
 
Why is anyone afraid of the Clippers? LOL. Even if they happened to get Kawhi I think we match up with that team extremely well.
 
Portland and Sacramento during the season. Both are nightmare matchups for us. Sacramento is ready for a breakthrough season next year. Rockets and Lakers in the playoffs.

In the west is it Houston with their internal issues and aging CP?
Is it the Lolakers… they are an organizational joke, but Lebron and AD is scary if healthy. You know every waived veteran is headed there.
Is it the Clippers with Kahwi? What else do they add?
What about Denver? If the young guys improve and MP Jr. ends up being good (likely not an impact guy in year one).

Portland, SA, Dallas, OKC, Sacramento will still be good/improving but they don't scare me.

First off jazz are not the favorites. Not even top 5. No one has Jazz wining a chip burns couple Jazz fans who are Homers. Nuggets were youngest team in playoffs and add MPJ along with Jokic,Murray,Harris,Morris,Beasleyva year older and with winning NBA playoff expierence.
Portland most likey maxed out as a team last year and that's their plateu a WCF team but Jazz not that good
Lakers have LeBron and AD
Warriors still have Curry and Green
Houston coach is always the season star

Jazz are not even a top 4 team In West and they will go into playoffs as underdogs. They need hope for Houston and still it cuz Dantoni blows in playoffs but Jazz are not beating zwarriors,Nuggets,Lakers in playoffs.

I'm not scared of anyone else. I believe we were already better than the Nuggets and Blazers BEFORE we got Conley. A Kawhi led Clipper team doesn't scare me either.

explain how your better than Nuggets when Jokic is better than Any jazz player? Nuggets have reverberating lineup and the better bench. So how your better? I'll be waiting for the lane duck response you got Conley. Nuggets youngest team in playoffs and won a series. Jazz will once again be watching the joker passing all over your team making them look like a JV squad

all those teams except maybe OKC are no doubt better than the Jazz though. Anyone that doesn't think a Leonard Clipped team is better then the Jazz are drinking serious look are and are going be mad disappoint coming soon to ya.

Yeah, well, you could be right and he may not be an effective NBA player.

That said, you don't average Averaging 21 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game while shooting 52% from beyond the arc in the PAC 12 and not be special. I watched him and I don't know how anyone can remotely say he doesn't have anything special. Smh

The only thing that Bradley had on Bol at 19 years of age was a few inches and a mission call.

We could always go based on last year's record between the two teams.

I agree Jokic is a legit NBA candidate. I am pretty sure everyone on the Jazz roster is one of those.

Nuggest suck in the playoffs. They are never going to go that far.

The Jazz beat the Nuggets pretty easily in 3 of the 4 matchups last year and the only game we lost to them was on the second of a back to back in Denver and we led through 3 quarters and finally ran out of gas in the 4th. Also, Rudy guards Jokic better than anyone in the league. I would feel very confident against them in a 7 game series.

We aren't the favorites at all and I never said that... we are in the conversation.
 
Shaq said he rather have Bol than Zion. Shaq loves Bol and seen him up close and he knows more about hoops than Every single one of you. Not saying Boo going be better but Nuggets taking Bol means M PJ is ready so they add a top 3 pick had he been healthy to youngest team in playoffs.only thing Nuggets have been missing is a him to guy and if MPJ become that forget about it. Jokic, murray,Hasrris is a better three than Mitchell,Gobert, Conley. It's also a younger one.
