See, if I am a team like the Kings, he is worth 6 million or so just to play with and against my youngsters.
8 per year would be my cap on PortisPortis would be a good fit offensively and I'm sure Quin and the coaching staff could improve his defense. If we could get him for around $12-13 million and still have $5-6 million to sign someone else I think we should do it.
Why tie the money up when other teams will offer more or Wiz can match?8 per year would be my cap on Portis
Wizards will just match any offer we give Portis. I like him but it’s a waste of time.
You aren't following their roster situation, which is understandable because they are the freaking Wizards.
This is probably more true about Sato than Portis since they've just drafted that Japanese guy as his replacement.Wizards will just match any offer we give Portis. I like him but it’s a waste of time.
Jamychael Green just makes way too much sense based on ability, positional need and his contract.
This makes no sense:
The Jazz must see things they like with him. Keep in mind, the teams and coaching situations he's played with so far haven't been great. We're talking Bulls and Wizards here.
