Not trading Exum.
Who would take Bradley? Maybe if we attached a second? Honestly, I could see him getting bought out if he doesn’t impress this summer league.

I don’t think Bradley has any value. I could see him getting cut. And all signs point to the Jazz keeping Exum.
With the two second rounders we just landed, I'd be looking to move both guys in any way possible. Maybe SA will do us a solid. The Jazz liked Favors, too, but felt Bojan + Ed > Favors, so it's time to get them to realize Caruso + Green > Exum, or Morris > Exum.

Don’t be so greedy.. it’s been a brilliant off season for the Jazz and I don’t think we should/could expect any more....

You’re acting like every last one of us wouldn’t love to see Exum prove us wrong. Him exploding only helps this team. I like the kid, he has excellent speed and D. I think he’d be a great back up.
But if you can’t stay in the court it doesn’t matter if your Michael Jordan. All you’re doing is harming the team.

I don't see the point in trying to dump Bradley especially using an asset. Even if we dump him, we still have around the minimum to spend to replace him.
We need to hold onto him, sign the best vet minimum guys we can, and go from there. If we want to look trade, we can at the deadline with Bradley's expiring, Neto's expiring, and whatever vets we sign. Combined, they could be $6+ which could let us target guys in the $8 or less range.

I think many of us would say yes to Exum if he weren't so injury prone. That's the problem with him. He can't stay healthy and so far he hasn't proven that it's even possible.

Meh. Selling at rock bottom and likely giving up assets. I do think you consider it if you get a very good FA forward. Morris has the talent, but not sure if there is even common interest there.
Otherwise, you keep Exum for at least his defense. As for Bradley, he's pretty close to minimum as it is. Why waste an asset to clear a million or so? Not going to get you a real contributor. Jazz can still add a couple of guys at the vet minimum.

It ain't happening. Zanick got DL to move on from a couple things... lets not remove all of DL's security blankets. Exum is in a position where if he gives us something it's a bonus... we don't need him. It likely requires an asset to move them so no thanks for now.

The Jazz desperately need Exum to show something. If Conley plays the way we all want him to play, he is only here for one year.
Ideal situation is that Conley is amazing, gets some ridiculous deal from someone else and Exum flourishes as a backup PG and takes over next year as the starting PG with Mitchell, Gobert and Bojan.
Signing Conley to another 3-4 year deal seems like a really bad deal.
We desperately need Exum to freaking do something.

If Willie Reed looks better than Bradley this Summer League, is there a single reason we shouldn’t just fork over the paltry amount to buy out the last year on Bradley’s contract and give Reed his roster spot? We wouldn’t have to give up an asset.
We spent more on the second round draft picks than it would cost to buy out Bradley. I really think this SL might be a playoff between Reed and Bradley for the third C roster spot. Am I crazy?

Durant is a proven top 3 player in the league, Finals MVP, and HOFer and even then, that monster signing is risky imo. But hey, they’re planning on winning the title not this year but next. They’re making an investment, and again, I think it’s risky.
Exum has 2 games in 4 seasons where he looked decent. and nearly every year he breaks by Christmas. So yeah, not even close to Durant.
