Official trade Exum and/or Bradley into cap space thread

Wouldn't be surprised to see some heavy load management for Dante after what Kawhi did this year.
What the hell is heavy load management? He averaged less than 16 minutes per game in 42 games. The year prior, 17 minutes in 14 games. Before that, 18.6 mpg in 66 games. 10 minutes per game or less? The only loads that need to be managed are those that exist only as a pun about the FO and fans.

Post of the Year.

Dude he’s taking the piss

So anyway I’m still way in on Caruso and Jamychal Green. And I believe we can get them with the cap currently being allocated on the aforementioned.

I'm in on Marcus Morris more I think because he's a) an upgrade over Green at the 4 and b) a possible Lebron/Kawhi stopper.

Caruso, who put up 9/3/3 for a sub 500 Lakers team is good, but Exum, 7/2/3 on a 50 win team, is worthless? And don't forget that Exum can guard 3 positions better than Caruso can guard one. But yeah, worthless. Got it.

In the last four seasons, Dante's played 122 out of 328 regular season games. So he's been available in just 37.2% of the games. In those 122 games he did play, he played well in what? 20 of them? So in about 6% of the games over the last four years, he's been a solid basketball player.

Maybe he's not completely worthless, but for a team as close as we are right now to being a complete team, spending 10M on a guy who shows up about 6% of the time is dumb as ****.

If we traded both, we have $11.6M in cap space. That’s $2M more than the MLE. We’d have real purchasing power with all the cap space sucked up.

Instead we’re all like “nah, what the hell, why not see what happens with TB and DedEx.” It’s like going to Egypt and thinking that seeing Cairo was such a cool experience that it doesn’t really matter that you don’t see the pyramids when you can just stay in the hotel and watch Netflix. I mean, you already saw awesome stuff, you don’t want to take Netflix for granted.

Your love affair with Caruso is dumb as ****.

Exum is our only guy that can defend 1-3 in an elite fashion. We will need him for the playoffs. I know defense isn't sexy, and doesn't show up in stats, but it matters, especially in playoff moments.
