Paul George and Kawhi to the Clippers

This idea that PG and Leonard can lock down DM and Conley is ridiculous. They can not keep up with their speed. The Clips are certainly a contender but they are one of several contenders. The Jazz being one of them. The Clippers bench is better than I thought. I am so excited for the season to start.
 
The thing is, we can see how good our team is and make trades if needed. We’ve still got some assets and picks to get better mid season, which neither LA team has now

That trio has no chance against Gobert - last year Rudy averaged 21ppg and shot 68% against LAC.

Both numbers will probably go up.

But there's also Beverley. PB on Conley, Kawhi or PG13 on Donovan, the other on Bojan, someone on Joe and Harell on Rudy. That's a pretty good defensive matchup for LAC I think.
 
Kawhi Leonard was in the same situation as Paul George last year :
- he wanted to play in L.A.
- in a competitive team
- not with Lebron

Very true. But we have more depth, so we have more options as far as matchups go. We can throw so many different lineups at them. We shouldn’t worry about the clippers until next spring. We should worry more about staying healthy and our team chemistry with our new players. Anything could happen throughout the season.

Definitely agree. There are also whole bunch of other teams in the West which could be really good. The only thing that matters for us to to get this group going and staying healthy

Hope Rudy can continue to improve offensively. But he's the key to solving the Clippers. They will be tough on the perimeter no matter what.

Remember when PG locked down Rookie Donovan in the playoffs? Oh yeah, that didn't happen. . .
 
Pg13 is a great player. If they took westbrick over pg13, we wouldn't even be talking. He basically Carrie's the thunder as much as he could while westbrick sucked

You can only "lock down" ISO players and neither one of them is! The Jazz play team ball, with 25-30 assists a game! We move that ball around like a live hand grenade and that keeps any team from locking down anyone player on our team!

They pursued Kawaii. He was never theirs to lose. They could have made the choice that they were going to build a good team without him, like we did in trading for Conley instead of waiting on Harris or DLo. They chose to pirate someone else's free agent while some sure things slid off the board. Screw them, they got what they deserved.

Tough perimeter D is kind of hollow without rim protection to match. Is Zubac gonna be that guy? Can thy get anyone else?
