PF by a good margin.
This. Knowing that even our starting 4 is likely going to be really a borderline third string player, any disruption there will be catastrophic.

Of these, I would easily prefer Kelly Oubre, but I doubt he's available.
Vince Carter, Trey Lyles, Amir Johnson, Jonas and Jabari are interesting I think. I don't think we need another C, like Dwight, Nene, Mejri.

I would’ve loved Marcus Morris. But apparently a few jazz fans thought he had attitude problems so the Spurs, the Raiders of the NBA, known for their erratic FO that loves troublesome players, already took him...

But I agree with Wes. Our focus should be on finding a 4/5 guy. Who’s still available other than Frank Kaminsky?

And they paid $10 million per year for him so he wasnt even close to being in the budget.

Jonathan Simmons and Avery Bradley would both offer serious depth at the 1 - 4 spots if we could get either on minimum contracts. Both are defensive minded and above average players.

As the last bit is directed at me my ideal hope would've been one of Hill/Lamb/Satoransky as the #3 guard with one of Aminu/Young/Morris at the PF. All signed for around half of what Bojan did.
And none would be as good for the jazz as bojan will be. He is a perfect fit with this team and quin system

Let us take a look at the depth

Pg - conley, exum, mudiay

I think that is solid all the way. Mitchell can also play pg in a pinch. I miss neto but he too was oft injured. (Worried about exuma health)

Sg - Mitchell, o'neale

I think another good 2 guard is needed. Mudiay and exum can both play here but for depth another is needed. I like oni but he is not ready yet. (Avery bradley would be the wet dream)
I definitely think Joe will play some 2 as well, at least if needed. Not worried here.

Sf - bogdanovic, ingles

Jeff green and O'Neale can play here and maybe exum in a pinch but another player is needed. Not sure who I like

Pf - Jeff green, niang

I think brantley will be signed but this is the unit that scares me the most. Bojan and ingles could fill in a pinch but we need another. Davis is another option (Wet dream is jamychal green)
Bojan will play a lot of 4 minutes I think. There will be opponents where we will struggle (against AD, LaMarcus Aldridge), but against a lot of teams I think Bojan or even Royce will be just fine.

Can Avery Bradley defend 4's? He's not very big at all.

Since when was Kelly Oubre a 4/5?

I voted for SG simply because we always can use more shooters, especially in the playoffs.

I concur 100%! In todays NBA you can never have enough good outside shooters! It opens up play for everyone else on the floor! Even without the best of shooters when they were hitting we had a parade to the dunkathon line!

Is he better than 2 of them though? And his fit is badly overrated, we have somewhat serious questions about who's starting at the 4 right now due to that signing.
Yes he is better than two of them cause he raises the ceiling of the team.
Basically bojan makes our best better than two of the guys you mention.
But two of the guys you mentioned makes our floor higher (our worst case scenario is better with 2 other guys instead of bojan)

We want to win a ****ing championship this year. You want more top end players for that. So bojan is better than two ok players for that goal

As for fit he is absolutely perfect for quins system and offense.
And it allows jingles to come off the bench and run the 2nd team which is also ideal.

Yes our starting 4 won't be really good.
Give me a list of teams with 5 top end talent players starting. There aren't many, if any at all. It's ok to have a Jeff green starting if the other 4 guys are all star or near all star level players. There is only one ball after all.

I would actually still say it's quite clearly PG. Conley is old, and holds a player option... Dante's not the torchbearer... Mudiay's a backup.

People here would actually be SHOCKED at how well Ed Davis would perform if Rudy went down wirth injury, he'd be cult hero status here... Ed Davis has always been pretty good, and pretty underrated, he's not dynamic enough to grab ppls attention, but I'm quite certain that if Rudy went down Ed Davis would make this new GM look real smart..

It's definitely not like if Rudy goes down in game 1 that playoff chances would be doused, Ed Davis would hold it down and the Tony Bradly experiment would be forced onto the big stage..
