Thabo has a lot of experience against LeBron and can hang with him a bit.No, but if we get down to Thabo guarding those guys that won't go well either.

Yes, I was thinking this, too after seeing that you noted seeing him. I was trying to find info about him last night. I guess I'd be OK with him as an upside play. I haven't seen much reporting yet that makes me think that he'll be anything more than another lean, athletic 6-7 body to use defensively. Maybe a lot like Sef, but without the savvy and shooting, but (at this point) more athleticism.

What would be the benefit behind waiting to sign Davis?

I think Dan Clayton was saying that we could offer a 3-year deal to someone (perhaps one of the rooks, if we believed in them) that would be impossible if we completed the Davis signing first. 2-year at most otherwise.
Exum contract strikes again.
Coulda, woulda, shoulda.Damn. This is the only guy that I’d have really liked to keep the full MLE for. Would gladly have traded Exum for space and have signed JaMychal Green and Caruso.

I figured they were the front runners. Hence why the Jazz needed to operate above the cap and keep the full MLE in order to be able to offer more than just the Room MLE and minimum contracts like they have been. Most of these guys don’t matter. They won’t make a difference in the playoffs. That should be the ONLY focus right now. Improve your top 8 guys to a high level of play when rotations tighten.Of all the teams I didn't want him going to it's the stupid Clippers. @$^*%!!!
Hmmmm. Why I wonder? This leaves me hopeful.
