Las Vegas SL -- Jazz v. Blazers

I was a doubter and Naysayer, but I slowly slid off that wagon last week. For now I am going to stand in the street kind of quiet like, and if the Tony Bradley bandwagon comes driving by again in November I might jump on.
I'll let you sit on my lap

Oni struggles with portland’s Pressure most of the game.

Portland’s center was shorter and stronger than Bradley. To me Bradley looked unready for the physicality.

Bradley has gotten better and he’s worked on his body... if we have to play him meaningful minutes during the season I’m not sure it turns out well. Hopefully we are smart enough to decline his team option for next year and move on... cut our losses.

even if I'm wrong about Bradley... and you're right... I'm loving this huge gulf of opinion between you and me.

Give me the first chance to say: u wrong bish!

I’d gladly accept defeat.

Simons was a player the Jazz could of had in 2018 at 21 instead of Grayson Allen. He worked out for the Jazz, but I remember Perrin saying he didn't handle contact too well.
He has elite length and good athleticism for a point guard. If he were to become a star it's going to sting and probably haunt DL.

there were so many players that we could've had at 2018 instead of Grayson Allen, aka one of the worst players in the league last season...

I thought the same thing watching Simons play but then I thought, well the Jazz wouldn't have Allen to trade for Conley and would've traded Simmons for Conley.... IF MEM would have liked him enough because I doubt Simmons would've played much and they just drafted a PG but that's all speculation. So my point is Simmons wouldn't be on the Jazz for this summer league.

Well that's a lot of speculation. If Simons was drafted he would have been a long term project (like Exum) and DL may have not included him.

The Tony Bradley experiment is a waste of time.

I dont think anyone see a player who could be potentially really good. Instead we are wondering if he has potential to be a player who barely makes it.

I see no reason to waste time with this. I would rather experiment with someone who has more potential.

I think what happened was that Portland was playing their drop-coverage on the pick-and-roll, where the big drops into the paint. Bradley didn't have a clear path to catch and finish. His moves are pretty limited and his lack of lift means he's going to get some of his shots blocked.

I see Bradley as basically a human rebounding machine and someone who can catch and finish drop-offs if the defense isn't paying close enough attention. He also sets a pretty decent pick.
