Shaun Livingston anyone?

I would love to pick him up to come off the bench for us. Perfect type of veteran pickup with championship experience.

A second unit with Exum - Livingston - O’Neale - Ingles - Davis would be amazing.

Why do things get weird if Exum gets hurt and Mudiay plays? Isn't that why you sign a 3rd PG?

I think some people aren't sold on Mudiay...he's not a very good shooter or defender and he turns the ball over too much. I think he's fine getting spot minutes here and there as the 3rd point guard but if Exum misses a significant amount of time again I would be a little nervous with him as our primary backup.

Have to watch his games last year. He shoots 10 times better than Exum. Mudiay has more talent than exum and we act like please don’t get hurt exum we will have to play Mudiay. Mudiay will be running point behind Conley and may be our point guard of the future

Mudiay has a lower layup percentage than Rubio. Knicks don’t have a roster and still didn’t want him back... nor was anyone else chasing him down.

Don’t watch highlights... watch full games. He’ll charge in for contested layups with 14+ sec on the shotclock. Has talent but needs a ton of work.

I think Livingston is washed and isn't an impact player come playoff time anymore - Warriors sure as hell could have used his boost during the playoffs and Finals in particular. He'd be another nice veteran presence on the bench if he wanted to come here however, but I think other teams would be able to sell him a better deal.

The jazz chose him over Caruso and others so they might believe in him as much as me

problably Caruso and others would be requiring a larger role (and more years) than some 3rd string project that the knicks let go away and may not see the floor until some real level of injury problems and/or development.

Well they chose him over Neto and they need exum insurance because it’s hard to shoot with a suit on. We shall see but I’m stoked to see what the staff can do with Mudiay

One year minimum. Saving money with that third spot. To me that says the Jazz believe Exum will be healthy (yikes) and able to carry that role.

I’m hoping Mudiay gets most improved player... need everyone at max performance this year.

But Neto cleared waivers. So Jazz could have brought him back for the minimum. Wonder how Rudy feels about that. Lindsey didn't want his little buddy back even for the minimum. Was Favors at $16.9 WITH the incentive or without? I'm pretty sure the incentive was ruled as likely, so would have counted against the cap. Anyone see the details on the way Bojan's contract is structured?

Neto is undersized for the league. Likeable guy, but size does not make tolerating injury history with it. I guess it does with Exum.

i still think the jazz valued him enough to bring him back on a minimum. but posibly neto felt that he needed a larger role than the mudiay one here (considering that he's right now a better and readier player) and wanted to get his contract before the jazz would be able to, considering the ordering for salaries counting against the cap and being able to use the exceptions, including the 2nd round picks.

Mudiay is trash If Exum stays healthy he’ll prove to be more efficient and is a zillion times a better defender
