What type of candidate can beat Trump?

Illegal aliens already get free healthcare at any emergency room, just like any other uninsured person.
Is it true that if i do not have any health insurance when i travel to USA then if i need emergency care a la appendicitis, then i do not receive any invoice assuming the ambulance will take me to the hospital and i receive surgery and some rest days in the hospital? So far i have heard that if you do not have the insurance then even the anesthesis might cost around 1000 USD. Every year our citizens are advised to have health insurance when travelling abroad and every year there are some dumbusers who do not order it and might have an invoice around 10000-100000 USD. Or does the free emergency car applies only to illegal immigrants and not for the legal tourists :)?

Yet you have nothing to say about all the name calling Gameface did to me. So typical of a liberal. Tsk tsk
Gameface wasn't the one complaining about name calling and insults. You were.
Just pointing out how you were being a hypocrite.

I also found it funny in another thread how you criticized gameface by saying he never has anything nice to say. Lol. That's you bro! Almost all your posts are negative and "not nice".

Am I missing something? Or did the article change. I followed @Red's link and it says this:

Trump expected to back away from census citizenship question, direct Commerce to seek data through other sources

Yes, I think some in the press saw "executive order" and assumed it meant an executive order to add the citizenship question, when it did not. In the audience were right wing conspiracy theorists that had been invited to the social media summit held earlier at the White House, and members of the mainstream media gathered to hear the citizenship question news. When the Rose Garden event ended, things got a bit heated:

Sure, you'll get an invoice. Then, if your income is below the 100% SLIDE level (as it is for many/most illegal immigrants), the invoice will be written off.

My previous job was working for a health care clinic organization that specialized in Medicaid patients and owned a hospital of last resort (Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation, if you want to look it up). If you really want to talk about this, I can do a few thousand words on it.

It applies to the people who can't afford to pay. Most people who can't afford to pay also can't afford to visit foreign countries.

He was in charge and was even told about it, AND Obama chose to do nothing about it. You do know how to do research don't you Mr. Anti-Trumper?

Yes, he felt not loooking partisan was more important that coming out with the truth and he could not convince McConnell or other major Republicans to join him. That was a failure on Obama's part. That failure doesn't change the deep collaboration between Trump and Russia.

Colton, here I gave you the benefit of the doubt. No more. Hey, genius look up Obama and Russian meddling. He was in charge and was even told about it, AND Obama chose to do nothing about it. You do know how to do research don't you Mr. Anti-Trumper?
What's your point? Obama failed us so it's ok that trump is also failing us? How does that make sense?

Such classy people. But that’s Trump’s brand. Intelligent, rational, and class just “emit” from Trump.

At least she’s not disrespecting the flag...

Wait a second. Our intelligence community did point out the Russians were interfering in the election, prior to Election Day. They did issue a joint statement by the various intelligence agencies, and to that effect.

And, more to the point, Obama requested a joint resolution be issued by Congress condemning the Russians. And who objected to that? Mitch McConnell, that's who. And why? He told Obama that if Obama pushed for such a resolution, he would accuse Obama of trying to tip the scales in favor of Hillary Clinton.

Obama also told Putin to his face to knock it off. I forget, at this point, where that took place, but must have been a meeting in Europe. It was a brief encounter, and a photo was published at the time showing Obama and Putin staring each other down, with Obama looking quite angry.

Now, having said that, Obama did not push the joint resolution idea, after McConnell said how he would respond, in part, I believe, because he assumed Hillary was going to win the election regardless of Russian interference.

Oh my gosh Never Trumper, can’t you do research? ;)

Honestly, I think Trumpers blame Obama for not doing more to inform the public about Russia’s hacking and punishing them for meddling in the elections because it delegitimizes Trump’s win. It marginalizes Trumpers (who get off feeling marginalized) even further because they know they lost the popular vote and barely won by barely winning a few key states for the electoral college.

By making it sound like Obama didn’t prioritize security against Russian hacking and by ignoring the strong influence Republicans had to dissuade Obama from going public, allows Trumpers to downplay the impact Russia had on the election. Sometimes, they can even spin it to deny that Russia hacked anything at all.

It flies in the face of the Mueller report (which I am finishing vol II right now. Trumpers won’t read it). Trump’s camp had SOOOOOOO many connections to Russia. And Russia had a yuge impact on the election. From hacking emails, to the vast disinformation campaign on social media, to advantageous Wikileaks releases the day before the DNC convention, and on the Access Hollywood Video Leak on Oct 7. When things were going bad for Trump? Wikileaks would come to the rescue and bots would shoot the message with hundreds of other dishonest stories all with the intent to misinform and divide the electorate to Trump’s advantage. I wonder why? :)

Spinning that Obama didn’t do anything to inform the public about Russia or punish them after helps to deny the obvious:

Trump is clearly Unfit for office.

Obama also leveled sanctions against Russia in Dec 2016 in response to Russia’s meddling.

Michael Flynn, then contacted Russia’s ambassador and told him to essentially “chill out and not overreact.” He then lied to the FBI about having done this. Gee I wonder why?

When Putin responded to our sanctions with a weak response, Trump tweeted that it was a, “great move” and Putin was “smart.”

Gee I wonder why?

Why would trump want to appease Putin? I mean, it wasn’t like he had been trying to build a Trump Tower in Moscow from 2013-June 2016. It wasn’t like he and his lawyer, Michael Cohen, had lied about having “any business in Russia” for months. It wasn’t like they had considered a pre-election visit with Putin to boost his visibility. It wasn’t like his campaign was sharing internal polling data to Russian intelligence. It wasn’t like he had encouraged Russia to help his campaign by releasing hacked emails. Nope. None of that happened... Cmon Never Trumpers do your research

@Red trump gets all the headlines. But Mitch has done just as much maybe even more to destroy our democracy. I’m glad you brought Mitch up. Getting Mitch out of office should be seen as a huge priority for democracy loving Americans. He might be the most corrupt and cynical politician in the history of our country.

@colton

I thought about just sending a PM to you about this. But then I thought others might be interested. The Bulwark’s wed. The 10th podcast had Ben Wittes from law fare on it. Really interesting stuff on the former ambassador from the UK on it. Ben gives some interesting details about our history with the UK and that special relationship. They also talk about the hilarious/sad response that our European allies gave once Kim had been called home (ambassadors from Germany, France, and the EU held a special breakfast for him).

Will our relationships with our best friends be permanently damaged by trump? Maybe. Hopefully not.

Thanks, I haven't listened to that one yet but will be sure to do so.
