What's new

Jalen Rose is HIGH on the Utah Jazz

Who are you counting as 6'8"? I only know of 3. Two are usually not regarded as particularly athletic and one (Howard) is TBD. Who am I missing?

Jeff Green, Stanton Kidd and William Howard. Green and Kidd are athletic and can slash as well as shoot. Howard is the best shooter of the three, but might be less athletic and aggressive. I guess we'll see. If you look at our rotation though, it's set up perfectly for an athletic two-way forward to have a lot of freedom. The floor is going to be spaced, our guards are versatile and Mitchell/Gobert are going to collapse the defense over and over.

Call me crazy but l think The Nuggets snuck up on a lot of teams last year.

I think they're good but not next level good.

If Gary Harris and Jamal Murray play well consistently and they stop relying so much on Will Barton, they could be right there. They're still paying Millsap too much though, and he's declined a bit.

Oh I believe the jazz can beat every one of those teams, but not in a row.

Then they’re unlikely to be champions. If the 2020 champion is a western team they will have to go through four killer squads. There will be no push overs in the west. And at the end the Bucks/Sixers will be waiting.

2020 playoff path I want...

1st round: Beat the Warriors or smash the overrated Nuggets to pieces.

2nd round: Destroy the Rockets and watch Clutchfans burn

WCF: Destroy either LA team and watch the media burn

Finals: Watch Donovan completely outplay Ben fake *** ROTY Simmons and defeat the 76ers. Watch the world burn.

Go to parade

We need breakouts from Royce, Dante, and it would be nice to see mudiay and niang do really well too. The rest of the top 11 guys should be ready to rock and roll

Utah gets Dante Exum. For free this year.
Mic drop!

Last year I suggested that Dante is playing the wrong position and that he's really a SG. I was laughed off of the board. This year he is probably going to be the backup SG, so... IF he does well then I was right. I don't count on him for more than 30 games this year though.

I really like Nuggets talent. Just don't see a player there already to the point of step up and decide these level of games.

Don't fully trust their d (especially on the aspect of getting stops at crunch time) and fancy our matchup with them, one last years i clearly see as the one imposing their pace and playstyle to the other (as both being uncommon and way different) getting big advantage, sometimes even leading to easy blowouts. Also seen Snyder running circles around Malone.

This is what I'm talking about....

Best part of the clip is when Jalen says they have the pillars and Russillo jumps in with Ingles... nailed it and neither guy laughed or acknowledged it. Great work.

I love it how Fanz are posting who they want to face and the order they would like to face them in. Yea, it doesn't work that way.Why are some Fanz counting the Jazz out of contending depending on the order? This is stupid. If you honestly think that the Jazz can win the Championship than give your full support regardless of competition they'll face. You can't be a championship without beating the best of the best. I'm confident that the Jazz are going to win every round of every competitor they face in the playoffs regardless of who it is. Can't remember a single finals where a team lucked their way into a championship by facing only poor competitors.
Be confident in your Jazz teams abilities or go and start cheering for the Knicks.

I agree. And expectations can be a B! Just ask us last year.

I don't think the Nuggets are top 4 when its all said and done. I think 6-7 is where they'll end up.
