8 years ago today: KD drops 66 points at Rucker Park during lockout

Odd statement coming from a Knicks fan, who watched KD pick the Nets over you.

does generalizing, placing labels and being a slave to narrative bias always make you feel more comfortable? or is it an only when your trying to look cool on the internet, hiding behind an alias, type of thing?

Nope. Larry Bird

It’s close but I think I agree. Durant is a better shooter but generally speaking the sport has evolved so much in the last 25 years and that’s to be expected. Bird was the better rebounder, passer, clutch player and brought intangibles in spades that Durant only wishes he could. So far as defenders go, they’re about equal.

I'm just a fan. You're a nut who thinks basketball is something more...a religion perhaps? All for something that won't ever earn you a dime.

I'm not even sure he was a better shooter. Bird is a member of the 50-40-90 club and only Nash and Curry are the others, I believe.
