Horry and Mitchell on a starting team on this is pretty bad for an all-time draft. Mitchell is great for his age but he is potential still, not an all-time great. Titles on the horizon is great for us as fans, but that doesnt count for anything in this. It isnt a projection of the players its what they have done in the past. Horry was a solid role player. I guess if he is on your bench in this that is fine. But no way is he a starter in an all-time greatest player draft.

Embiid really has no place starting in this either. But Gasol should start anyways. Embiid is good but he has yet to play a full healthy season. He missed quite a few regular season games even this year and missed playoff games this year. Plus his playoffs were not that great this year. He is a potential player and that means nothing for this competition.

Would it have made a difference if I would have started Havlicek and Pettit? My rotations do clearly state Havlicek and Pettit would play more.

Havlicek always came off the bench. I didn't know how Pettit would be perceived due to how long ago he played.

I'll learn more for next time, but I was trying to put together a team that actually would work together.

Pau Gasol should start over Embiid.

He should start over Rasheed. Pau played the 4 when he won rings, and Horry is such a non-threat offensively that it would be fine. Not to mention Gasol would destroy him inside and while he doesn’t stretch the floor, Embiid does.

So MJ is considered the best of all time by many because of his playoffs. I'm considering Horry by his playoffs. When his teams won titles, many times he was shooting 40%+ https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/h/horryro01.html#all_playoffs_totals

Am I missing something here? Is it best year? Best title year? Best career? A team that actually makes sense? What is the point of this competition?

In the future, we should know our opponent in advance and then our write up should be how our team is going to beat the **** out of the opponent. That, which is much more realistic than this "beauty" pageant we have now, would make more sense.

X's and O's my team destroys UB's. But people would want cry about Horry. He's not even playing the most minutes at the 4 for me.

You name the criteria, playoffs, peak year, career, best tuesday games after Christmas. Whatever. Your team is one if the worst put together in this format.

Donovan is almost as bad a starter pick as Horry.

I started the wrong people. I got it.

PG Frazier
SG Havlicek
SF Pippen
PF Pettit
C Russell

Is that better?

Yes, it would have helped. But I still would have voted the same on this one.
