Iso Joe was one of the best one and done Jazz players of all time. The title would have gone to Derek Fisher before we all realized he was Derek Fisher.

Derek Fisher was never in the running. He had one of the worst seasons of his career while wearing a Jazz uni.Iso Joe was one of the best one and done Jazz players of all time. The title would have gone to Derek Fisher before we all realized he was Derek Fisher.
This is true, but I believe his leadership was a big part of our WCF run. So was GSW upsetting Dallas, but I do believe DF’s impact was much larger than the horrible statistical year he had with us.Derek Fisher was never in the running. God bless Joe Jesus. We were lucky to have him for a brief time, but it was so rewarding. The Game 1 buzzer beater was awesome, but my favorite memory from the Clippers series was when Iso Joe went nuclear down the stretch of Game 4 to even the series, despite Hayward being sick and Gobert limited by injury. That was an all-time great performance.
DF left me with such a bad taste in my mouth (actually from the very beginning when he indicated an initial reluctance even to join the Jazz) that I will never admit his "leadership" had anything to do with any success at all. I will argue 'til my dying breath that his presence on that Jazz squad held them back, not helped them. This is true, but I believe his leadership was a big part of our WCF run. Well he left the next year and we never went any farther.DF left me with such a bad taste in my mouth (actually from the very beginning when he indicated an initial reluctance even to join the Jazz) that I will never admit his "leadership" had anything to do with any success at all.
