Countdown to William Howard becoming the next Ingles/Wes Matthews

There is a saying in French I often turn to to characterize the ineffable. The word was coined in the 12th century in an oft neglected and bleak arrondissement in the "City of Lights," just a few stone throws Northeast of where the greatest frenchman of our lifetime, Nic Batum, lost his baby teeth. It goes like this: ...

Actually no. I don't know any French phrases, at least not consciously. Sorry to get your hopes up.

I do know some American cliches or phrases though my favorite being "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." And So if Rudy and William Howard are from the same country they will have the same success or comparable success. Or Maybe Howard is better?

Kidding. Let's pump the breaks for a second.

I'm not very good at projecting NBA success and apparently nobody is, not even the guys paid millions to be competent at it, so I don't feel bad. Not one bit, and you shouldn't either for that matter.

But I have next level intuition. Percievcability as Boler calls it, and I got this feeling in my gut, aside from gnawing sense of hunger, since I haven't eaten anything today, that Howard has got the tools requisite for big league success. (*Whispers* don't worry, I didn't know he played baseball either)

6'8, long, a little skinny. Skinny as in I might be able to out class him on the bench press and I've cleared 200 maybe 5 times in my life (If you max out after high school your doing it wrong? Scratch that. If you max out after 30 and you're not the Rock, you are doing it wrong)

But that shot tho. Gee Wilikers it looks wet as a rainy day in May. and in transition I have some some big believability that's gonna work and he'll look great with he lighting at the viv when he rockets to the cup for a slama jama or even just performing the French version of the Nash dribble which I can only characterize as a retreat.... dribble?

But in some of the vids you can really see the potential he has to be a hair better than average athletically and that's better than downright being a bad athlete I have no doubt.

In all seriousness, and I'm not messing with you guys at all with this next declaration, that dude is gonna play meaningful minutes for us and I don't possess the time or further energy to pay more of a fitting tribute than that.

Dude can play!

Thanks Captain Obvious your ability is real and I the proud owner of 2 superpowers snapping into a slim Jim faster than anybody and agreeing with people that are right

That's punctuation. Use some.

You are an excellent writer, but did someone brake your keyboard?

I'm really excited for the Stars season with him, our three 2nd round draft picks, Stanton Kidd, Nigel Williams Goss, Juwan Morgan, Bluett, and Bradley I'm smelling GLeague title.

I'm thinking about filing a copyright infringement suit on this thread. Are there any legal types that can advise?
