I have seen nothing that indicates Trump is serious about draining the swamp. He's put industry mavens in charge of regulating the industries they came from, used his influence to get people to book his own hotels, and treated the Attorney General like his personal attorney (for a start). Trying to have his political enemies (only) investigated is deepening the swamp, not draining it.

In Addition to this his administration is full of his own family members, as well as family members of Giulini and McConnell.

Not to mention his donors. Hell, Sondland donated a million dollars to Trump's inauguration (funds for which are still largely unaccounted for), and now this wealthy hotelier is our ambassador to the EU and has found himself at the heart of this Ukraine scandal. That's swampy as hell.

Politics is the new Religion of the United States. I have never seen such ferver toward anything in my life. I'm not a young person and I can't believe the anger that spews from the mouths of people on both sides of this equation. You want to know why we have no one running for president that has morals, has any integrity, has not backbone? It's because we the people continue to vote in our politicians who are awful people and we don't believe we can make changes. Trump won because of this. He won because he was different, not better, but different. America is still looking for someone who is different, but we really don't care about morals, or decency anymore. Go back and look at the conversations in the thread. We call names, attack, and assume that our views are 100% correct and everyone else is an idiot. We are the problem, we are the plague. We need to change. I'm starting with the man in the mirror. I'm asking him to change his ways.... Also, yes this is coming from someone with the name Ted Bundy. I get the irony.

Good post. I agree.

But as long as the Dems continue to attack people I will put on my cape and defend the innocent.

Hmm, maybe because Sondland seems to be saying one thing over the phone and a different thing over text. According to Taylor, over the phone the quid pro quo was clear. Over text, Sondland said something different... but then said "if you still have concerns talk to people on the phone."

And he wouldn't have involved his PERSONAL lawyer, but rather would have kept it through official channels. Etc., etc.

Hell Republicans should be scared if Biden is found guilty of something. According to Republicans the Democratic candidates are too boring. Not entertaining enough. Apparently they need more scandal in order to solidify their base like Trump did. Grab em by the *****, sleep with porn stars and then pay them off, make fun of the handicapped, worry about what people think of your tiny hands, etc etc etc.
Biden being dirty is a good thing for his chance at the presidency, right Republicans?

I see Biden and one of Romneys top advisors were on the same board. No obvious red flags there. We all know Hunters impeccable credentials and how he most definitely was qualified.
