At least for the Stars. Stars pick up the rights to former Byu guard Kyle Collinsworth and Georgetown player Rodney Pryor for the rights to Jarius Lyles and Justin Reyes. It's errie that both Pryor and Collinsworth are about the same height and had about identical stats their senior year of college. The trade was with the Raptors GLeague team.
 
Those 3 posts in row are about as good as it gets on jazz fanz.

A few more observations:

- Is Rodney at all related to Richard?

- How bad would it suck to be traded in the G League? I mean, in the league, trades suck, I’m sure, for dudes, but they’ve got at least a couple million guaranteed in the deal and it’s way better than anything any of us are making. Imagine you’re making $30k/yr in the G League and getting passed around the country (or North America, in this instance) like a pack of cigarettes in a prison. That’s gotta suck as I’m sure most here make more than $30k and would be pissed if they were abruptly transferred with no pay raise.

They are living the dream hoping to get called to the show for real money. It's not that different than minor league baseball or hockey. I think I read that the salary for a triple A baseball player is like $12,000 a year.

It would stink but in Collinsworth's case it's probably great as he's from Provo.

Hopefully they both enjoy playing for the Stars and improve their games.
 
Now the question sticking in all of your minds is what are the Stars going to do with the trombone player, Herpes and Willie Reed? Reed joins a list of former Jazz players who were the No 1 pick in DLeague draft including Mikki Moore, Jamal Tinsley, Grant Jarrett, Jeff Ayres and JuJuan Johnson. OK I know a couple of these dudes only played summer league. I wouldn't mind Reed being a top car salesman for a Larry H Miller dealership, a Stars player and insurance policy against an injury.
