Great Pyramid at Giza

And that's only part of what makes the video stupid. The numerology is by far the stupidest part. The "What the media won't tell you" is a special code word to get stupid people interested in what you're about to say.

You just posted something saying that because they know the WEIGHT of each block of granite they know how much the WEIGHT of the pyramid is.

To say we know the weight of the pyramid by calculating it based on the mass is still a stupid statement. He should have said we know the weight because we've counted all the granite blocks and know how much each of them weighs.

I meant to post the wiki link not the pbs one. I updated it.

Archie, I get the feeling you have some sort of ideas about what the Pyramids are all about or whatever. That's cool. It doesn't change the fact that the guy's simple statement was dumb and basically meaningless.

Why not? Something that is massive has to do with it's size, amirite?
Well, i would have got pretty low grade at school if the teacher would have asked "What is the approximate mass/weight of a car?" and i would have answered "well, it is about 4 square meters" instead "well, probably around 1,5 tons".
Or am i missing something in due that english is not my native language?

I'm, admittedly, fascinated by the pyramids and have done a lot of research on them and astrology. That said, you're putting way too much into what the guy was saying as dumb when there's a simple explanation for it.

Meaningless to you? Perhaps.

Dude is still smarter and knows more than you. The only thing that irked me was you saying something about people who eat up what people like Graham say, like you have it figured out. You don't.

I don't know if that dude himself put the title on the video "What the media won't tell you" but that was dumb. The statement about being able to know what the weight is because they calculate it based on mass begs the question, how did they determine the mass? It's like saying I calculated your height based on the distance from your head to your feet. It isn't really wrong but it is a meaningless statement. Then the stuff about if you take the square root of the height of the pyramid and divided it by the angle of the sides and add the mass you get the recipe for fried egg rolls. Numerology is meaningless. You can literally play with numbers until you find some "interesting" coincidence with similarly manipulated numbers from something else based on anything. To use that as part of an argument is silly.

So he most surely knows more about the pyramids than I do. But I know that at least some of the things he says are either stupid or meaningless.

My favorite thing about the great pyramid is that if you divide the height into the base you get pi exactly, suggesting that the ancient Egyptians knew pi.

Also, Cleopatra is much closer to us in the timeline than she is to the people who built the pyramids. There will still Mammoths on the Earth when the pyramids were built.

Obviously this means that they hauled the large stones with Mammoths, probably dinosaurs too.

Apparently the reason the founding fathers didn't want to switch to the metric system was the great pyramid inch our inch is derived, they held numerology of the pyramid with such high esteem it would have been sacreligious to move away from the inch as our unit of measure. There really is something special about that wonder of the world

He 100% didn't post the video or the click-bate title. You're getting tripped up and triggered by things that are meaningless. However, numerology is definitely not meaningless nor is synchronicity.

Graham Hancock, 100%, teaches pseudoscience and has some out there claims, but 100% knows more about the pyramids than you. He was probably trying to simplify things and you're trying to **** on him and make him inferior.

I'd bet my life on it, he knows more than you. Dismiss it, and make fun of it as you will.

:)
