Rudy's comments

The thread is about Rudy's comments. So complaining about the injured Exum being a pansy has nothing to do with Rudy's comments. It just seems that a majority of threads always end up throwing in negative comments about Exum when his injuries have nothing to do with the topic of the thread.

Exactly!

It has everything to do with this thread you dimwit. Did you not see Exum play for the 20 minutes he was on the floor last season? He was the best at lobbying the ball to Rudy (yes, better than even Rubio).

I agree with this to.

The way Mitchell is playing right now, he's likely to be an All Star this year, especially with both Steph and Klay out with injuries. Meanwhile, Rudy has to contend with Anthony Davis, Karl Towns and Nikola Jokic to make the All Star roster. Not an easy draw.

To those of you saying it’s Conley Rudy’s comments extend to last season when there was no Conley.

When you put it like that man I really don’t know. Making it is going to be extremely tough. Still going to be tough for DM as well. I get what Rudy’s saying. It’s easier said than done. I agree Dante is the best at it out of the current options and hopefully he is back soon. To any of you taking shots at Dante you need to stfu.

I think Rudy's comments were really directed at Donovan. Donovan is the guy who has the ball in 4th quarters and drives time and again. It's like Rudy is saying he feels a bit neglected on offense when Donovan takes over.

Rudy cares about his individual recognition. He was down trodden about missing the All Star game last year. He knows he needs to be seen as a solid offensive player to get that recognition this year.

My thoughts are Rudy should have developed a single post move and then a counter/variation off of that, at least, to say this.

Outside of a lob, he looks terrible 9/10 times with the ball in his hands longer than 2 seconds, inside the paint.
I made this suggestion a year ago and got crucified for it

For sure. I’m just talking about him backing someone down. Like you back your arse into the couch

I won't even touch the las thing you backed down, I'll leave that for the professionals at the local sexual health clinic.

This is a red flag.

My expectations for the season are certainly down reading that.

Now if Conley starts blaming others for his poor performance I think I'll just tune the Jazz out for a while.

Rudy was pretty much maxed out in my book of how highly I regard athletes. He has now dropped down a peg. And it's not easy to get a max rating in my book, so there's a good chance he'll never max out again, even if nothing else like this ever happens again.

We need Rebounding not more looks to Rudy. We have plenty of offense and will only get better during the season. Rudy needs to look for a title not all star status. Rudy you are already a star as the best defender on the planet quit worrying about self recognition and quit talking outside the locker room. It only hurts the team

I agree...

Exum to Gobert will revive Gobert because he will have a PG actually trying to get him monstrous dunks and Gobert needs those. Exum to Gobert gets Exum on the floor and allows him to drive to the hoop. I don't give a hoot about Locke's anal ytics ,Jazz don't have anyone that wants to go to the basket all game long and Jazz need to attack the basket. Exum if healthy is ready to manufacture points because if anyone is looking ,the Jazz are pathetic on offense and in come Philadelphia and Milwaukee who will dominate Utah on the boards.

I have no problem of Gobert wanting to get points down low when no one else can score in the paint. Jazz need points in the paint or they won't make the playoffs. They're gonna take a whipping from Milwaukee and Philly.
