Okay, so here's the point I'm trying to make: as I said earlier with my reference to Doc Rivers, good coaches have multiple options (and go to players) at the end of games, we have one. And I might add, that
one is a 6'1" shooting guard, that to my way of thinking has to work a little harder to get himself open for the shot. (Is there another player at that height in the NBA with a similar usage rate at the end of close games?) And as I said earlier, none of this falls on Mitchell in my view, this is Snyder's coaching scheme. Am I wrong to suggest that this highly respected coach may have some flaws in his designs?
This year, in a very small sample size, we are eighth in close game wins - this is not representative in my view. Last year however, through the course of an entire season of employing our late game Iso Mitchell strategy we came in dead last in close game wins
