Remember the Bucks Game

in Milwaukee. We lost by 4 with Rudy out. Bradley had 8 points, 3 blocks and 11 boards in about 23 minutes PT. Spida and Conley go 9-27 shooting and the bench played well. After that the Bucks are killing everyone and we go in the toilet. This tells me the talent is there.

I concur. No talent issue. Might not be champs, but we are playing far beneath our potential.

The talent is there, but I'm not sure this is the best example. I think we set a franchise record in 3 pointers made in that game which is obviously not sustainable.

I'm beginning to think the talent isn't there

The talent is there in the starting lineup but the bench is absolute s*** and it's killing us.

Playing Brantley over Niang would help. A lot. Like it's literally impossible that Brantley could play worse than Niang. Niang provides nothing of a plus nature in his minutes on the floor. He's basically just a three point shooter and we don't even use him as a shooter. We don't run any plays to get him open. We need a guy in that spot who is more versatile in skill set.

Its not about talent this is about mental fortitude. This has been an issue from the beginning when we didn't even put fourth an ounce of hustle to get a defensive rebound. These guys have been lazy, mentally weak, extremely soft and selfish.

We have a very undersized backcourt, no power forward, and our bench lacks in size, athleticism, and basketball skills.

I actually don’t think think the talent is there. One fluke game against the Bucks doesn’t negate the larger sample size that shows this team isn’t an elite team.

I completely agree. Hell I'd even give him some of Greens minutes.

I'm just going to throw this out there: I think the best thing to bring our players together would be an on-court fight with another team.

it's never about talent. it's about the way our roster is constructed.

Due to lack of PFs on this roster, we cannot go with the traditional lineups since there will always be mismatch on the court due to having an undersized player covering at the PF position. but we really don't possess players with enough skillset to go full small(think Lebron, Harden or Steph, players that are skilled enough to make small lineups work), and we severely lack size/athleticism to go big.

it's simply very difficult for Quin to find a reliable lineup/rotation out of this current roster, despite how skilled these players are.

Think Rudy/Favs/Joe/DM/Rubio.

No matter what happens to our rotation, we can see Quin's faith in this lineup. Maybe occasionally replace Favs with Jae depends on specific circumstances.

But what is our current lineup? What are the five guys that Quin could trust to put on the court when we are trying to win games in clutch?

And at the beginning od last season we had that game against Warriors were we scored 81 in the half, broke the 3's record too and lost just by one. And after we played like **** until the Korver trade. It feels like a similar story. Last season our weakness was shooting and Korver helped it in regular season. The question is if the same kind of move can help this year. Getting a true power forward would be great but we still have issues with the bench, Conley's performance etc.
